The Blackbird flew through the air faster than possible, The X-Men held on to their seat belts.
Rogue was somewhat traumatized by the things she saw in Shaw's memories.
She most vividly remembered one.
Shaw and Emma Frost were at New Genosha, and a woman, blind it seemed, stood in front of them.
The woman put her hands into Emma and Shaw's palms. Then, the scene shifted, it showed the X-Mansion, being destroyed by the Brotherhood and Hellfire Club.
The mansion was barely holding up, walls and classroom supplies were scattered across the battlefield.
She saw her students fighting Shaw. Boom Boom threw giant balls of energy at him, but they just fed him, he knocked her back with a blast of energy. Cannonball tried to ram him, but Shaw threw him to the ground and stomped on him.
Iceman and Wolverine fought off Toad and Quicksilver. Iceman froze Toad in pace, but soon after Quicksilver knocked Iceman out. Wolverine lunged and tried to tag Quicksilver, but he was too fast.
Rogue, Nightcrawler, and Hellion took on Donald Pierce; he was one of the Hellfire Club members she'd seen in Shaw's memories. Hellion threw pieces of the fallen walls at him, but when they hit him, he was barely fazed; Nightcrawler slashed Pierce with his swords, while teleporting so Donald couldn't tag him, but all the sword did was uncover his cyborg body. Rogue punched Pierce across the battlefield.
Beast, Angel, Storm, and Gambit were being defeated by Magneto. Storm called down lightning on Magneto, but he blocked it with a car. Angel held Beast in his hands as he held him in his hands. Angel dropped Beast on him, but Magneto controlled the metal in Beast's belt, and threw him to the ground. Gambit threw a deck of charged cards at Magneto, but he dodged them, and used Gambit's metal staff to knock him out.
Xavier and Jean stood in front of each other, looking as if they were having a telepathic battle, Jean was different, her eyes were fiery, and her hair was engulfed in flames.
The vision ended.
When Rogue stopped remembering the things in Shaw’s mind, she found that they were already back at the mansion.
Everyone left, and Rogue went into her room, to drown her sorrows in liquor.

Emma Frost stood in an interrogation typed room with Nightcrawler, she walked around the table.
“So Kurt, I know that you recently have lost your spouse, I am so sorry, from what I have seen of Kitty, she was a great person, but now, we have to get back the bastards who killed her, the MRD. You will be a very valuable asset to the team.”
Kurt tensed “We will get them back, no matter what.”
Emma grinned “That’s the attitude, now, the MRD have somehow managed to temporarily disable mutant abilities, do you remember anything strange going on that day?”
Kurt went deep in though, he remembered what had happened.
Kitty and Kurt were at a haunted house. Kurt had been in his blue form, because to mutants, Halloween was the only good day of the year. They were able to be free. Too roam the streets in their mutant forms. Too be able to hang out with humans.
When they excited the haunted house, they saw two men following them, so they just assumed that they were MRD, and Kurt tried to teleport.
It wasn’t working.
Kitty started to freak out, and then tried to use her phasing, but it also didn’t work.
They ran into the woods, hoping that they would lose the MRD, but that wasn’t working, they’d already set up in the middle.
Then, the rest were quick flashes of memory.
Kitty was shot, and then Kurt killed the guards, and teleported to New Genosha.
He told Emma what happened.
Emma looked at Kurt “I see. Nothing abnormal for a mutant, it just seems that they brought a new device to the party.”
Kurt growled.
Emma played it off “Sorry, party wasn’t the best word to use. You are free to go.”
Kurt left the room, and he went back into his room.

Xavier telepathically communicated with Jean Grey.
“Jean, come to Cerebro, I need you to confirm a familiar face.”
A few minutes later, Jean entered the Cerebro, she met Charles in a telepathic session, and when she saw what Xavier was seeing, she almost cried.
Xavier whispered to Jean “Is that him.”
Jean whispered back in a pale voice “Yes, that’s Scott Summers, the boy who saved my life.”
Jean started to cry, and went into a flashback, one of the only memories that she had before Xavier.
It was at her old home in New Jersey; the MRD stormed her house, and killed her parents.
Scott lived a block away, but had ridden the same bus, and got off on the same stop, so they knew each other quite well.
Scott had always said that he was blind, and that his ruby glasses had helped him see.
Jean knew it wasn’t the case, but she went along with it.
When Jean had arrived home that day, MRD agents were waiting for her, Scott not a second late, yelled at Jean.
“Get down!”
Jean went to the ground, and saw a large optic blast shoot from Scott’s eyes, the troops fell back, and Scott put his glasses back on.
Jean saw another truck of MRD agents coming, and Scott looked at Jean, then without even speaking, Jean heard Scott say.
“Run.”
Jean ran into the backyard of one of the neighbor’s houses, and escaped.
She looked back, and saw Scott being shot repeatedly, she wanted to help, but she hadn’t know she was a mutant yet, or at least what abilities she had, so she kept running.
Back in present day, Jean sobbed, she had always wanted to go back, see if he was there, but she knew he wouldn’t be.
Xavier patted Jean on the back.
“We are going to get him Jean, I promise you that.”
