I have been attributed a kill, though I had nothing to do with it. Seems James Saunders aka Speed Demon has split in half. I should just slip into the hospital and finish the job!

Dallas Riordan sat in the interview room holding a foam cup of coffee, turning it round and around in her hands. She glanced up at the reflective mirror knowing that there were people staring at her.
The door opened, Captain Burdick stood there looking none too happy. He crossed the room in three strides, flung the chair out and sat down.
“What did I tell you about thin ice?” said the Captain coldly.
“That I was on it!”
“So care to explain what happened in the alley?”
“Am I under arrest?”
“Don’t make my life any harder than it is Dallas” groaned the Captain.
“Harder? Who’s the one in an interrogation room that isn’t allowed to leave?” snapped Dallas “That’d be me! You honestly think I killed four people? You genuinely believe I made the whole Punisher thing up? This lump on the side of my head is obviously a figment of my imagination! Go get my effing lawyer before I knock your head off Blake!”
“Dallas…”
The chair flung backwards and Dallas was on her feet, leaning towards her superior “Are you deaf? My effing lawyer, NOW!”
Dr Mark Byrne watched on from the other side of the glass “She’s on edge, but she’s not Scourge”
“I know that!” said Molly “You know that, why is the captain giving her the third degree?”
“Pressure from the top” replied Dr Byrne “They want results, Dallas keeps making errors which puts her in the line of fire. Plus the whole X-Men debacle, now add that to her gun being used to kill four mobsters by a man most of the department turn a blind eye to”
Molly shrugged “Lucky that Frank’s prints were on the trigger huh?”
“Frank usually wears white gloves” said Dr Byrne “Probably a subconscious statement that he keeps his hands clean. Frank’s prints were all over the weapon, meaning he deliberately removed them to operate her weapon”
“So deep down he has a heart of gold?”
Dr Byrne looked down his nose at Molly “Frank Castle is a psychopath who believes what he’s doing is correct. He’s textbook crazy. If he wasn’t a former policeman, you’d see that”

Another day listening to the sea of scum plead and protest their innocence! More names added to list that ever grows. I have Elongato’s routine and tonight…he dies. Justice will be served! If I’m lucky I will kill Stilt-Man as well if he isn’t hiding behind the boy!

Dallas slammed her locker “Effing bastards!” She slammed it several more times in frustration and then punched it.
Molly took a step back “You could get fired, would you rather that?”
“Being busted back to uniformed duty!” Dallas slammed the locker again “Almost!”
“Think of all the fun you’ll have” smiled Molly “Shame it wasn’t earlier, you could’ve helped them move Giant Man out of the street”
Dallas glared at Molly “Oh what fun. Excuse me Mr Giant Idiot! Kindly move your effing sixty foot keister! What was he doing anyway?”
“Jones in the chopper squad said he was crying”
Dallas smirked “What a clown!”
“How long did the Captain say you’d be doing uniform?” asked Molly.
“Until my attitude improves” groaned Dallas.
“So never then!” laughed Molly “Did you see this?”
Dallas skimmed the article “Bifurcated? What?”
“Cut him in half”
“He’s still alive though. Not our guy, Scourge puts people in wood chippers” Dallas tossed the paper in the locker and shut the door, and watched it reopen due to the damage she’d done to it “What do I care? Whole world’s going down the toilet! Seattle’s under siege, aliens landing in Central Park you can’t talk about, Frank’s using my gun to kill people. What next a super powered frog? Effing madness Molly!”

Bar With No Name, NYC
Standing in a darkened alcove was Megatak, the bouncer of the bar. The only people who came up to the door were people who meant to be there, casual trade were put off by the dingy smelly alleyway and the big 6ft 3inch near four hundred pound behemoth wearing an ill fitting tuxedo and a helmet waiting to greet them.
“You okay Greg” asked Kelly the barmaid as she hauled the bin full of bottles out into the alley.
“Megatak is okay” he replied in his weird pseudo electric voice.
“Need anything?”
“Megatak is okay”
“Did you get the update on who’s now barred?”
“Megatak has list uploaded to brain” he tapped his temple slowly “Tombstone, Jack O’Lantern, Hypno Hustler, Speed Demon, Mr Hyde, Firebrand, Blue Streak, Steeplejack, The Melter, the Enforcer, Songbird,…”
“So you got the list?”
“Screaming Mimi, Commander Kraken, Human Fly, Baron Z…”
“Greg!” snapped Kelly “Jeez, you’re worse than Bird-Man when he’s plastered!”
“Megatak is sorry”
“S’okay” Kelly smiled and patted him on the shoulder “Ya big freak”
Megatak smiled and returned to his duties of guarding the door.

Jack Abbott looked at his cuffs as he sat at the officer’s desk. He was coming down off a night of hard core chemicals; you would too if you were short to the Kingpin.
“Thefatguydontgivenosecondchances” he rambled as he rocked back and forth, biting his lips to the point where he’d bruised them “Thefatguydontgivenosecondchances”
“Just shut up!” said the processing officer as he looked around for a pen.
Jack’s eyes darted about wildly and he lunged forward catching the officer unawares, choking him with the cuffs.
“THISWILLMAKEHIMHAPPY!” roared Jack pulling the chain tight; the officer launched back flailing his legs. The room erupted as police officers drew guns and began barking orders at him. Jack snarled like an animal.
Dallas walked in to the room pulling at her uniform. She looked up to see dozens of her co-workers with guns drawn yelling at a man who had taken a cop hostage. She walked straight up to him, grabbed the pot of coffee off the boiler and smashed it over the back of his head sending scalding water and shards of glass everywhere. Jack screamed as the officer kicked back and the pair collapsed on the floor. Jack tried to get up but Dallas slammed a foot across his throat as a dozen other officers circled him guns drawn.
“You’re under arrest!” stated Dallas as she unclipped her cuffs from her belt.
