Earth...
KRACK!
Daniel Jones felt his nose crack as he was knocked to the floor. Blood dripped from his gums as he felt several teeth roll around in his mouth. Daniel tried to back away as the thug raised the baseball bat over his shoulder.
"Please..." Daniel said as he backed against the filthy alley wall. "...don't kill me..."
The thug smiled down at him. "Sorry pal." He said as he prepared the bat for another strike. "You missed your payments. I ain't gonna stop till you're in the hospital!"
Daniel closed his eyes as he prepared for the strike.
BWAMF!
A bright blue light shot out of the sky, showering both Daniel and the thug in the light.
"Daniel Jones of Earth. You have been chosen." The light said.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" The thug yelled as he started to back away. Daniel stared deeply into the light. He didn't even notice the thug sprinting away in the opposite direction. In an instant yellow energy wrapped around Daniel's wrists as he was raised into the air. Slowly and calmly he was brought directly towards the light as it covered his body.
"Innocents are in dire need of your assistance." The light said as it covered Daniel's face. "Welcome... to the Uni Force."

Half a Billion Miles Away...
KRRRKKKKEEEEAAAKKKKKK!!!!!!!!
Star-Lord watched in horror as the cockpit of the ship slowly started to tear itself apart. An explosion hit him in the back sending him drifting upwards into the air. In horror he watched as the unconscious bodies of Gamora and Rocket Raccoon drifted towards a hole in the side of the ship. Star-Lord aimlessly kicked his legs towards them in a poor attempt to swim towards them. Needless to say it didn't work.
"SKRULL!" Star-Lord yelled through his helmet, giving it a muffled echo. Super-Skrull was ignoring the chaos around them and spent his time working on a holographic keyboard. Star-Lord fired a shot of air into the Skull's back catching him by surprise. He glanced at Star-Lord with a frown. "Help me save them!" Star-Lord said as he nodded towards Gamora and Rocket. The Skrull smiled as he shut the keyboard down before the terminal exploded. Kl'rt the Super Skrull shook his head as he levitated himself out the ship via an invisible force field. "GOD DAMN IT!" Star-Lord screamed as Kl'rt disappeared into the blackness of space. Star-Lord looked around frantically as he aimed his gun at Gamora's back. He switched the firing mode to ice and fired. Two silent shots fired through space and struck Gamora and Rocket Raccoon in the back. The ice enveloped portions of their body until they fused together. Star-Lord grabbed a nearby fire extinguisher and puffed it towards the pair. He placed his hand on Rocket's tail and pulled.
BOOM!!!!!
Star-Lord screamed in pain as the Kree ship opened fire once again. An explosion damaged another part of the ship's command deck sending flames scorching Star-Lord's side. Peter Quill gritted his teeth as he reached for the ice duo again. His fingers tickled against the side only for it to slip away from him again.
"FRAK!" Star-Lord yelled as he watched the duo slip through the tear in the ship's hull...

The Kree Ship "Judgment is Upon Us" Command Deck...
"Weapons are recharging sir!" The weapons Ensign yelled as he sat at his control terminal. Thrig smiled as he watched the small Skrull ship burst into flame. "Sir! The Super Skrull is attempting to escape!"
Thrig sighed. "Send several scout ships after him. Tell them to shoot him on sight."
"What about Drax sir?" The Ensign asked.
"What about him? He's just one man. Granted one powerful man... but still a man. We're an entire warship of the Kree Empire's finest."
"Permission to speak freely sir?" The Ensign asked after a moment of silence.
"Permission granted Ensign." Thrig said with a frown..
"That sounds like fraking bosh'tet."

Drax the Destroyer frowned as he sat on top of the tiny piece of asteroid. He watched as the small Skrull ship exploded as the even larger Kree ship fired thousands of rounds upon it. Drax studied his options. He couldn't fly. Jumping the distance between the ship was impossible. Drax was angry however. No one was allowed to hurt Drax's friends and escape punishment... Drax sat down on the rocky surface of the asteroid... and waited.

Earth...
"What... what is this?" Daniel asked as he stared at himself in the mirror. The blue and white costume was skin tight, yet it felt like the most durable thing in the universe. Energy shimmered around Daniel's hands as he felt his face.
"We are the Uni Force. A being dedicated to protecting the galaxy. We've traveled to this planet many times in the past few years... your... superheroes have taken to calling us... Captain Universe."
"Protect the universe?" Daniel asked. "Protect it from what?"
The Uni Force hesitated. "We are... unsure. A being of incredible power, otherwise the responsibility for defeating it would fall to one of the other Guardians."
"Guardians?" Daniel frowned as he posed in the mirror. "What other..."
BOOM!
Daniel was thrown aside as the side of his apartment's wall exploded. Concrete and bricks were sent flying everywhere as a metal being flew in through the hole in the side.
"What the hell...?" Daniel asked as he looked up from the floor.
"My armor scans detected the Uni Force here...." The being said as they landed on the floor. They turned towards Daniel angrily. "But... I don't understand why it chose you."
Arno Stark grabbed Daniel by the shoulders and raised him into the air.
"TALK!"He yelled angrily as Daniel stared in shock. "BEFORE I MAKE YOU!"
"I... Iron Man?!" Daniel yelled. "Why are you..."
"It's very simple Daniel..." The Uni Force said. "The being before you is NOT Tony Stark! It is the Iron Man of the year 2020!"
