The Wendigo burst from the trees snatching Morbius by his throat. The vampire struggled but it's grip was too powerful. The larger of Ares' mutant dogs jumped at the creature biting into it's arm causing it to release Morbius as the smaller dog slammed it's ram like horns into it's rib cage making it roar in pain. The creature flung off the larger dog as Ares jumped out of the Transport with a large steel mace. The dogs were back on the creature distracting it enough for Ares to bring the mace down on it's skull. Ares then struck its knee bringing it down as the smaller dog tore into it's throat. The others came to help but Ares stopped them saying the dogs could finish this. They stepped back and watched as Ares' ferocious pets attacked this beast said to be able to hold his own against the Hulk.
The Wendigo seemed to go insane with rage after pulling the small dog off his neck as blood sprayed from the wound. The large dog then rammed his head into its knee causing it to shatter. The beast fell and the dogs tore into it, eating the fearsome creature alive. The rest of the group now looked fearfully at these monster dogs but a terrifying smile came across Ares' face as he saw what his pets were capable of. After the gory feast was over the group intended to sleep but the noise from the fight had drawn unwanted attention. Several Iron army Hunters appeared in the sky above them and started demanding I-Dent cards as they landed. Jim manned the guns mounted on the transport and opened fire as the rest of the group jumped out of the way. He took out 2 of the 5 before they could muster a defense. Alan blasted 2 more as they fired their repulsers and Johann created a large blade that he used to slice the last in half.
After that they quickly loaded up the transport and drove away from the area. Ares seemed happy that his group had so little trouble taking out the soldiers and his dogs had filled him with pride by slaughtering the beast in the forest. He knew things were only going to get worse from here on out but felt he had a dependable crew to rely on.
