Savage Land
7 and Mo-Zar walked for several days, their progress was slow. They'd spent more time evading predators than moving forward. Finally they came across a village. It looked as though a war had passed through. The place had the stench of death all over. 7 stopped Mo-Zar at the sound of some creatures fighting. They peered around the corner to see two lizard men fighting over a scrap of meat.
These had once been a peaceful race but the virus had tainted their minds leaving them feral. They looked up and saw Mo-Zar and 7. They charged forward, 7 knocked the first one out with one shot but the other leapt for his head. 7 out of instinct sliced its head off with his blade.
They spent the rest of the day searching the village for any tools or supplies that could be useful and found a hut in good condition that would be easy to defend if they had to. Animals had retaken the village in the absence of civilized creatures. The supplies they'd scavenged were scarce but the had found a map so they plotted a route to where Mo-Zar indicated were the most likely places to find survivors. 7 was more interested in finding the Outsider's lab he'd been told of.
They had a quick dinner and slept waking early in the morning to the sound of animals ripping into the hut. 7 caught the first to break through, they were small but there were many of them. As more rushed in 7 and Mo-Zar burst out the door. 7 hurling them away as Mo-Zar swatted them away with a large stick. Their attack stopped as abruptly as it began at the sound of a thump. The small creatures fled as a feeling of dread came over the two. They turned at the sound of a roar to see a massive tyrannosaurus charging their way.
Mo-Zar was surprised to see that 7 looked more angry than frightened as he pulled his blade,"You going to take that thing down with a knife?"
7 nodded, "Thinking about it."
As it approached 7 ran at it at top speed barely avoiding its mouth as it attempted to grab him. He then plunged his blade into the creatures leg and digging his claws in he began to climb. The creature thrashed around trying to shake 7 but the Creed held firm. He climbed up to the base of its neck and drove his blade in severing its spinal cord and dropping the beast.
He looked to Mo-Zar as he went to the meatiest part of the creature,"Get me something to carry the meat in, if nothing else we'll be well fed the next time something tries to eat us."
