Alex Shostakov's dream always began the same...
The experiment...the shield....the spy....memories flooded into his brain as he slept...memories dove through his mind seeping into his very core. He tossed and turned in his bed until, finally, his eyes snapped open, and he found himself surrounded by men in suits.
His motions were swift; his moves blending together, as he took down each opponent. One man went for his a gun but Alex grabbed his shield, the disgusting replica of his doppelgangers. The shield was shrouded by the darkness as sparks flew as the bullets bounced off of it. In a swift move, the shield was flung through the air; spikes on it's edges shone as it smacked the gunman in the face, and blood flew from the man's face. A man behind Alex threw up, and Alex threw a kick to the man's gut and followed up with a few jabs to his face. One by one, each opponent fell.
A slow clapping was heard from a microphone...and Alex's attention was turned towards a camera.
"A test..." he muttered. "Another test?"
"Yes." the concealed man told him. "Another test..."
Alex's face contorted. "WHEN WILL YOU SEND ME ON A REAL MISSION!?"
"Do not fret, my pupil..." The voice answered back, sly and cool. The hair's on the back of his neck stood up. "I finally have a mission for you...."
Alexei grinned with pleasure. "Who's the target?"
"His name is Albert Malik...call him the Red Skull...I want you to kill him, my Red Guardian..."
Alex smiled, exposing rotted teeth. He grinned a wicked smile.
"It will be done..."
