Jack woke up to an empty room she'd fallen asleep on the couch the night before. This apartment which the university had provided Hercules was empty. He and Nemesis were gone at the moment. There was a note but it was written in Greek. Hercules had learned to speak English but had yet to learn to write it. She took the note to one of her friends who was fluent in Greek to translate it for her. Her friend told her it said find a safe place bad things are coming.
Yu went with Achilles to the place where his employer had asked them to meet his assistant as he called her. They met with a beautiful blonde woman who told them to refer to her as E. She handed Yu an envelope and said he'd be most interested in the contents. She then took Achilles to the side and handed him a cell phone the voice on the other line was trying to conceal deep rage. The voice told Achilles there was a job for which he could name his price. He knew this was bound to happen since he'd seen that report. He'd been hired to kill Hercules
Galahad stood on a rooftop with man claiming to wish to change the world. This man talked a good game. The old knight listened intently to him as he explained himself. The man claimed he was a man of god who'd been sent to help Galahad save the souls of this world. He told him that Hercules had come back to restore the worship of the old pagan gods and there was only one way to stop him. He handed him a sword said to have the power to kill an immortal. He recognized it instantly.
The man with Galahad thought he had him self a recruit. The knight had put on a good show but had gotten what he came for. The sword was perhaps the most famous weapon that had ever existed. It had words inscribed on it, Caliburn Ex Calibur. Galahad could feel the power in the blade he had not been searching for it but when the man started talking about it he knew what it was and wouldn't allow his king's sword to be in the hands of this man who clearly didn't mean a word he'd said to him. Galahad stepped to the edge of the roof as the man turned he jumped.
