Iron Woman, Part 9- The Comeback

Tara suddenly woke up from her mattress. She had this dream of when she and David were going for their honeymoon. But somehow her sleep got disturbed by something else. She noticed that her lovely boyfriend was gone. She got up from the mattress, searching for him. She noticed that David wasn’t standing there in his stone block. She ran inside her house, then the art gallery, hoping she could find him there. But he wasn’t. All the other statues were still standing in their right positions. Tara moved around and checked to see if David could be anywhere in this gallery. Then she noticed the set of doors were wide open.

Oh no, Tara thought. She ran quickly through the open doors and stopped, thinking he might have gone to check out something. But she wondered about that. Why would David wake up from his sleep and go out, roaming her house in the middle of the night? Was he trying to look for something? Tara then realized that David must have gone downstairs to her secret laboratory. She couldn’t help thinking of what David might do. She ran down the stairs, naked, trying not to think about the clothes that she had to wear now, because she needed to search for David in time. While she passed her living room, she stopped, just to see if David could be sitting here. But he wasn’t around. Then she continued moving down the stairs, and finally reached the laboratory. The door was opened. She feared that David might have taken a look at her technology. He might have done something to it. Without thinking any further, she moved inside her laboratory, and noticed that the small compartment, which used to carry her armor, was gone. The control panel on the right side of the compartment, had been torn apart.

“What?" Tara said to herself. "He wore my armor?” She couldn’t believe that. There was no way that David would fit inside her armor. After all, it was only meant to fit for her size. She spoke to the computer, asking questions about David's whereabouts. The computer said that David wore the armor, and flew off into the sky. She went to the table, where the laptop was being kept. She stared at the laptop screen, turned it on, and waited for the desktop to be loaded...

Come on... Come on... Tara didn’t have the patience to wait any longer. She had to find David, and bring back her armor. When the desktop was finally up, she clicked the surveillance program, which she installed in her laptop computer a few months ago, so that she could see the outside view from her big house, whether there were any intruders coming inside or going out. It took a while for the program to show up. When it finally did, Tara clicked the button with her cursor and activated the screen mode. She saw the time, two and a half hours ago. She felt like she had woken up after a long time. She couldn’t even tell because she had an erotic dream. She looked at the past screens, which showed her Iron armor flying in the sky. It was David.

She quickly went away from her laptop screen, and walked to another small compartment. She punched her secret codes on the side panel. The small door of the compartment opened. She punched another button, which allowed the stack, holding her other armor, propelled itself further. She wore it. This armor looked quite different from the one that David had worn earlier. Her armor was still red, but it had golden plates on. Most of her armors were made of titanium-alloy. It was such hard work that Tara Stark had put herself through. She pushed that thought away, and was ready to put her helmet on. It covered her face. Then she checked the systems online that they were all working properly.

She spoke to the computer, and said she was ready to go and find David. She looked at the viewing screen from her helmet, hoping to track down his signal, since her armors were linked wireless. She got the connection and the signal, which came from David. She stared at the outside window, and now noticed that it was broken.

“Great!” Tara said loudly to herself. “Just... f***ing great! I’m going to chase my boyfriend.” She wouldn’t let anger to affect her ways of thinking. She had to find him and fast. So, she flew through the broken window, and still locked on the signal from her other armor.

Meanwhile, David who wore Tara’s armored suit, arrived at some nuclear power plant. He tested it to see if this kind of armor was working out for him. He was happy to become a hero again. He felt dancing, singing, and cheering himself on. But there wasn’t anyone else in the power plant. He felt lonely, and thinking about his late wife, Bathsheba. In that time, people used to think why she had that name. He knew the answer very well. It was because Bathsheba had always taken a bath, alone. It sounded like a bad Bible joke. Anyways, David walked towards the power plant, just to see how things here were different from his era. He didn’t know what kind of building this was. However, he noticed a warning sign that let people know to stay out of danger. He looked at it, and tried to figure it out of what it actually meant. He saw some control panel, hoping he could find some buttons to switch the lights on. But what he didn't know was that the control panel outside the power plant, could unleash high levels of radiation. He came closer towards it, and was about to touch the buttons.

All of a sudden, Tara Stark cried out to David, and forced him to stop.

David heard the cries of her human lover, who just arrived from the air. She reached the ground, coming closer towards him. She breathed heavily and just saw David was about to touch the buttons, which could have unleashed hell on Earth.

“David...” Tara panted. “What the f***? What... What are you doing?”

David didn’t know what to say. He only tried to figure things out in this era. He wanted to try new things, like he f***ed Tara’s wonderful @$$.

“Tara?” David almost sounded surprised. He observed her, and noticed that there was a slight difference from her armor. He never thought that there were other armors in her secret laboratory.

“Tara...” David continued. “Is that you?”

“Yes, David,” Tara replied. “It’s me.” She opened up the helmet, and showed her beautiful face. Her brown eyes, her black hair and her pink lips... She was very beautiful, and David couldn't help it.

David opened the helmet too. He apologized to Tara of what he had done. He never realized what he was doing, but felt the need to accomplish new things in this lifetime.

“I’m very sorry,” David said. “I was just... trying to learn something new.”

“Well, David...” Tara said. “You were about to kill us all. Nice try, though.”

David still felt ashamed about it. He decided to the armor off, and give it back to Tara. It was only for the best.

“Come on,” Tara said. “We need to get out of here before...” She paused and heard clanking sounds, coming towards them. They sounded like footsteps.

“Tara...” David said. “What is it?”

“Hey, listen,” Tara whispered. “I think someone’s coming.” Someone was coming for them. Whoever it was, probably wanted to find out what David and Tara were both actually doing here.

Tara motioned her marble boyfriend to stand behind her back. David nodded, and stared at her armored @$$. It was the same look that Nathan Romanoff made on the last mission.

Wow! David thought. Ihave never seen anything like this before. It’s so beautiful. He erased the dirty thought away, and watched for the incoming figure. The clanking sound was still being heard, until it came to a halt. The large figure looked like someone had worn the other armor. Tara noticed this silver-armored figure was familiar to her. She remembered that she made it the first time back in Afghanistan. Therefore, she would have to find out who was behind that mask and why.
