Innovation Inc. Organisation Thread

Innovation Inc is a unique group I created which provides a spotlight for brand new characters and stories. I posted up on a thread my idea for this group and the response I got was brilliant. I'm so glad so many people are interested and since people have been asking all sorts of questions about the group, here is the official thread for Innovation Inc.!

What Is Innovation Inc. and What Are The Rules?

Innovation is a group where you can post your own original story to the group. You will have full control over the stories you create. The story can not be related to the DC or Marvel Universe! Therefore you cannot set your story in Gotham or Metropolis. Apart from that there are NO rules. Your story can be set anywhere; an existing place or a made up one. You can even set your story in space. My aim is to have as many different comics with different genres as possible.

How Can I Get My Story Included in Group And Where Does It Go?

Since the character is your creation I have no right to say you cant write the book, but just to make sure your story idea isn't some ridiculous idea (like Captain Custard from Lollipop Land) I will request you send me a PM briefly explaining the character, the plot and the genre. I am unlikely to turn down your idea. Your story will get submitted to the Library. Once In the Library, the story will be categorized by genre!

You Have Often Mentioned 'Genres'. What Are The Genres & Why Are they Important?

The genre of your book is just my way of putting the Library in format when there are a lot of comics. When you click the Library, the different stories will be under the genre. The genre's are: Superhero /Vigilante/ Detective/ Sci Fi/ Adventure. If I have not included a genre you would like for your comic then please tell me and I will add it.

Great. We need some more writers in the mix. I will continue mine. The main hold up me for is punctuation. I am not Joygirl, so that forces me to have to learn from the ground up the proper way to punctuate. A challenge but it will be worth it. An awesome story is only as good as the characters and the punctuation. i am not putting out junk with my name on it.

But I do encourage everyone who ever wanted to write to do so. I think I lot of people could do better than the comic books. Simply because we are not beholden to people to make money. We can write whatever we want. Comics can't do that, they have to write what they think will make a profit.
