I did the blog quest and realized how important writing regularly is. As a journalism major, I had to write in this generic format that is good practice, but boring as Hell. Since I have been writing on this site, I feel like my style has improved. I love using adjectives. It felt so good to complete a story, I feel ready to attack my screenplay.

So my fellow fic writers, when and how often do you write? Writing is a passion for me and now it feels like I can't breath without writing a note or e-mail somewhere.

I write fam fics about 1-2 hours a day. I try to get one chapter or more of my story up. So yeah, quite often (at least for me)

I typically write something at least once a day, whether it's a fan fic or one of my original stories or just some stupid random thing that pops into my head. I don't really have a specific amount of time that I work. I simply stop when I feel like I'm done and try not to force anything. That could end up being a few hours or it could be just a few minutes. To me, writing is fun. If you don't have fun with it, you probably shouldn't be doing it. That's something that I had to remind myself not too long ago.

My writing schedule is so completely up in the air. I've spent probably 10 hours writing some days, and others I get nothing done.

I write comic scripts often, and I've been posting them to the fan-fic section, so yeah. I often write anyway for school or, well, posting this post and other stuff on the internet; but that clearly doesn't count.

I'm always writing, even when I'm not writing. A good writer is writing every second of every day, whether they're putting words to paper or not.

I'm writing as much as it's possible given an amount of work I have to do. I never posted my stories here, though, only on ff.net.

Day 1- Think of Idea and start basic outline for about 1-2 hours.
Day 2- Start the outline and finish the outline 2-3 hours
Day 3- Script the outline 2-3 hours.

Over all I don't do too much writing a day because I spread it out over a 3 day period. I like to have outlines done of what I'm writing that way I don't get too off the main plot.

If I'm awake I'm either writing or planning a story
