Two years after the events of House of M, Wanda hides herself within a small apartment complex located in small town Beaufort Gazzet located in state South Carolina. Wanting to move on with her life, forgetting her role with the Avengers. Not ready to face her punishment for the chaos she invented. Causing have of the mutant population to loose their abilities with just simply three words, which makes her the target for hate and cruelty.
The scene then flips to Buffy Summers, an infamous vampire slayer who was effect by the Scarlet Witch's powers as well. Having to wake to find her mother cooking breakfast, believing her seemingly false passing has been a nightmare. But, her sister Dawn knew something was wrong, not about her mother's existence. Dawn, some how the first to something was off about this reality.
