The rusty buzz of the chainsaw could be heard for miles around,its just a pity there was no one around to hear it.
That and the screams of course.
It was pitch black the long grass was wet. Marilyn stopped and took a breather she looked forward to the dense forrest and back,back to that house that twisted,deranged gut wrenching loony bin of a house.
And that buzz,that awful noise.
The buzz of a chainsaw and had now become the pendulum of the end.Of her end and also many other peoples who had been unfortunate enough to cross paths with this clan of macabre and horrific people.
The buzz drew nearer...
zzzzz....
and nearer....
zzzzz.
She looked ahead and came to the realization that she would either end up like her friends or she would have to go through the dense forrest.
She decided to go with the forrest since nearly anything would beat been hacked up by a chainsaw.
Despite her choice,the buzz followed.
The wielder of the power tool was as strange and as frightening as you could imagine or even worse.He was wearing a trench coat,he was covered in blood,but the most eye catching thing was that he was wearing a dead persons face.
He is a big guy tall and hefty doesn't look like your stereotypical runner.But he was hungry and anyone who is hungry is going to chase after their meal.
Marilyn got to the end of the trees,she could see a hill and a road up ahead.
That terrible,dooming whir still echoed behind her.
As she climbed up the slope she saw a light beam onto the road and she looked up.It came from a pickup truck.
She stood in the middle of the road and waved her arms vigorously,in incredible desperation.
"STOP!,Please Stop!" she screamed as she could hear the buzz get closer.
The truck drew to a halt.
The driver slowly opened the door. They etched away from it.
Her face went from a slight smile with a smidgen of hope in it to fear and terror,much like just a few moments ago.
It was another member of this family.He wore coveralls and had a leather jacket over it.The tag on his coveralls read "Last Chance" an ironically fitting term at this moment in time.
He was grimacing.
"Now darlin did ya actually think you would get away? huh? Us Sawyers always take our runaway cattle back to the slaughter"
He drew a revolver.
"Ya do look like prime meat darlin,yep you're gonna make some great barbecue" He said calmly as he cocked his gun.
BLAM!
He shot the bullet straight through her heart.
The wielder of the chainsaw finally got up the hill.
"Why? Why do you waste your damn time huh? Why Bubba? There is nothing wrong with a nice clean shot to the heart." He shouted.
Bubba dropped his head down in sadness.And threw his chainsaw to the ground like a toddler in a daycare center.
"Uhhh ahhh hu ah hu" he cried.
"What is a matter with ya now dammit? I didn't shoot her in the head,I saved the face for you" He replied this time not as angry sounding.
He knelt down next to the corpse and pointed.
"Look,a brand new face for you,the sooner we get back,the sooner you can take it and give it a try" this time in a calmer tone.
Bubba's eyes dazzled with child like glee.He quickly stood up and picked up his chainsaw, cradling it almost as if he was saying sorry to it.
"Now quick lets get this body back home before the feds catch us or somethin" He ordered.
Bubba took the body and draped it over his shoulder and then dropped it into the back of the truck.
They drove away back home.This family outing was over.This one.
