does Marvel or Dc use a group of writers?

I was wondering if any books have a group of writers instead of just one?

Kind of like they do on shows like smallville had many writers but that was odd because they season tended to go all over the place and you just got confused because all the writers had favorite characters you could tell.

yes. lots of books have more than one righter. especially large events like futures end.

Writing conference for big events but usually each book has it's own writer and the editor who is supposed to keep it all aligned

yes I love to come up with guidelines and story idea after idea but do not like to put it all together. I can see some round about idea of the story line. however it could be expanded greatly.
