DC Zombies Infectious Insanity Part Four

The sweltering stench of Gotham's sewer system was overshadowed by the rotting smell of the re animated corpses of the dead.

BLAM!

Thud!

BLAM!

Thud!

Two more of the dead hit the ground,each with a bullet in their brain.

Sionis turned to Crane.

Crowbar in hand and hunched over. With each movement of the crowbar, slowly but surely the gap in the door became wider and wider.

"Crane get that damn door open! I dont know how long I can hold these b*stards back" Sionis growled with anger and a slight bit of angst in his voice.

"Are you scared yet, Mr Mask?" Crane whispered in a solemn voice.

He then took one hand from the crowbar and pulled out his handgun. He cocked the safety off.

Sionis decapitated another of the dead's many ranks. He turned to see Crane who raised and pointed his gun at Sionis.

Raising it ever so higher ever so slightly.

"I'm a dingle, dangle scarecrow with a flippy floppy hat" Crane sung to himself.

He continued to raise his weapon higher.

"Crane dont do anything stupid" Sionis warned,this time he said with alot more anger and alot less angst.

"I can shake my hands like this and shake my feet like that" Crane continued to sing this time slightly louder.

Sionis tilted his head,slightly confused.

"When all the hens were roosting and the moon behind the cloud" Crane said now louder so Sionis could hear him.

Crane raised his gun and looked straight at Sionis.

Sionis remained calm and still.

"Up jumped the scarecrow and shouted very loud!" Crane shouted.

BLAM!

Thud!

"I'm a dingle, dangle scarecrow with a flippy floppy hat" Crane sung to himself,now in a quieter tone.

Sionis tipped his head down towards the floor and turned around. And saw a freshly dead walker just inches away from him with a newly placed bullet in its noggin.

Immediately noticing more of the dead and almost as quickly dispatching them.

"Thought I had got all that batch" Sionis replied.

Reloading his weapons and checking to see if there were any more of the dead in close proximity.Sionis then went over to the door.

Both felons worked fast to break down the door,eventually it gave way.

"What was with the nursery rhyme back there then Doc?"

" It was just a little experiment,to see if one of them could be tamed or calmed,to see if it was aggressive out of fear,that and I needed to keep myself at ease a bit as well" chuckled Crane.

" Uh,so did you see any fear in it,then Doc?"

"No,I did not I will have to run more tests" Crane simply replied

Both villains continued there descent into Gotham's sewer system.

Disclaimer all characters belong to DC and credit goes to the nursery rhyme dingle dangle scarecrow as well.

Its the nursery rhyme called dingle dangle scarecrow,I had the title in my head and googled it.
