Goku never gets to use the Spirit Bomb because Buu ended up killing Hercule.Buu kills Goku and Vegeta,Buu destroys the universe.Everyone is now dead but the Dragon Balls are now in space.Bulma creates a space ship out of the raw materials they have and find all the Dragon Balls.Goku and friends wish to everyone to be revived but stay in the other world.Goku,Vegeta,Goten,Trunks,and Gohan train.Goten and Trunks achieve Super Sayain 2 individually and Vegeta finally gets Super Sayain 3.Goku has achieved Super Sayain 4 power in his Super Sayain 3 state and it doesn't take as much power.Goku and Vegeta also can turn into Gogeta canonically now.They all have an all out spar to test their limits.Goku ends up teaching Instant Transmission to everyone as well just incase.After 10 years of extra training almost 10+ Universes have been destroyed by Buu.Goten and Trunks are Goku Super Sayain 3 level but they have the power strain just not Goku or Vegeta as they are now.Goku transports them all to the next planet Buu is visiting and confront him.Goten and Trunks turn into Super Sayains and do a combo attack to damage Buu but fail and only get knocked back.Vegeta fires a volley of Ki balls which(usually do nothing)Buu ate them and then Goku fights Buu and ends up dominating the fight.Goku let's Goten and Trunks try to fight him and with two Super Sayain 3's who normally Goku couldn't take on at their levels they are doing a little better than Goku did.They eventually fuse into Gotenks and immediately turn Super Sayain 3 and dominate the battlefield but the fusion runs out and Goten and Trunks get blasted off Team Rocket style by a full power punch from Buu.Goku takes on Buu but Buu actually starts trying.Goku is severely outclassed by a full power Buu and tries Fusion in Super Sayain 2.They both are evenly matched but Goku doesn't want to go Super Sayain 3 even though since there is no power strain on them the fusion time doesn't go out as fast.Gogeta eventually turns Super Sayain 3 and starts beating up on Buu.Gogeta uses a Soul Punisher on Buu but that did nothing but turn Kid Buu into back into Super Buu for some reason who was stronger than Kid Buu even without anyone absorbed.Gogeta and Super Buu battle it out and then Goten and Trunks come back Gogeta is about to get absorbed until Gohan intervenes with a Ki blast to distract Buu.Gohans evenly matched with Super Buu until Goten and Trunks fuse back into Gotenks and get absorbed by Buu with the opening Buu had.Buu is immensely powerful even outclassing Gohan and Super Sayain 3 Gogeta.Goku,Vegeta,and Gohan all gang up on him but end up getting beat up hardcore.Goku Vegeta and Gohan have no choice but to return to the Otherworld for more training.While Vegeta and Gohan train together Goku visits King Kai and asks to find a counterattack to Buu's absorption.King Kai eventually finds out that one of the Kais Buu tried to absorb had a magical gauntlet with a legendary material found in asteroids King Kai told Goku if he were to create a bracelet out of the material he couldn't be absorbed.Goku sets out in space to find Asteroids.He takes 5 of them back to Other World so he can get the material.Bulma helps Goku make bracelets out of them and Goku heads back to where Vegeta and Gohan were training.By this time Buu has destroyed over 100 universes and over 1000 planets.Goku equips Vegeta and himself with the bracelet while Gohan saves it for later.After another 5 years of training Goten and Trunks have been training inside of Buu.On the next Planet Buu was visiting a dark figure intervenes and a Ki blast is shot out.Its actually Piccolo,and he's been training much harder than Goku and the others.At this point Piccolo is probably on level with a Super Sayain 2 Gogeta.Knowing Piccolo stands no chance he tries to hold off Buu from destroying this planet until Goku and friends arrive.Piccolo is on the verge of death and he is saved by Goku.Buu ends up absorbing Piccolo for fun and then proceeds to beat down on a Super Sayain Goku.Vegeta comes to help aswell as Gohan.Goku,Vegeta aswell as a brand new and improved Gohan team up to beat up Buu.Goku an Vegeta charge up weak beams to attempt damage on Buu but only fails with nothing being done to him.Vegeta tells Goku and Gohan to stand back so Vegeta can fight Buu for revenge after he stomped on Vegeta the last time.Vegeta turns Super Sayain 3 and charges Buu only to be tricked into going inside of his stomach.Vegeta explodes his Ki and Buu is now sent into a million pieces but he still reforms.Goku at this point creates a plan.While Goku charges a mini spirit bomb(due to the lack of energy donated) he tells Gohan to weaken Buu while he's off guard so Goku can unleash the Spirit Bomb and possibly destroy Buu forever.Gohan and Vegeta stall for an opening but it's about to end when Gohan realizes that he forgot to put on his bracelet to prevent being absorbed.Before the beam hits Vegeta protects Gohan repaying him for what Gohan did to save Vegeta from Cell.Gohan and Vegeta both Bloodlusted charge Buu but end up getting beat easily.Buu ends up gloating little did he know Goku is performing his new attack.Goku asks for Gohan and Vegeta to give up their energy for the attack.Goku takes their energy and unleashes the Spirit Wave a beam like version of Spirit Bomb.The beam pierced through Buu and creates a glowing ball in his stomach,Buu lights up like a light bulb and Buu disappears.Goku thought he defeated Buu but it only weakened him back to his Kid Buu state.Goku,Vegeta,and Gohan are out of power leaving Goten Trunks and Piccolo.Goten and Trunks having been training for awhile inside Buu with Piccolo decide to end him quickly.Goten and Trunks both turn into the new level of Super Sayain 4 and with all the training they had they were sure to beat Buu.Piccolo asked them to wait but they ignored him after what Buu did to their dads.Goten and Trunks are individually winning the battle even without each other.Buu has no idea what do to.Goten and Trunks are faster than light after all the training they did and Buu is too slow to react.At the right moment they both fuse into Super Sayain 4 Gotenks to end the fight in one shot.They unleash the Mega Kamikaze Attack and create 5 ghosts powerful of busting solar systems if exploded at the right time.Buu tries to runaway from the ghosts until Gotenks teleports and punches Buu stopping him in his tracks and before the ghosts explode Gotenks teleported out of the blast radius.Gotenks ends up charging his ultimate attack which is 100x greater than Vegetas final flash at the current state he's in now.Gotenks is charging up the beam while Piccolo stalls Buu so Gotenks can kill Buu.Piccolo stands 0 chance against him until Piccolo does the full Nelson to sacrifice himself for Gotenks to save the entire world from being destroyed.Gotenks unleashes the beam destroying Buu and Piccolo atom from atom leaving Gotenks and the others on the planet.During the fight little did Gotenks know the Planet was about to explode and they end up un fusing.Goten grabs Gohan and Goku and Trunks grabs Vegeta and they head back to the Otherworld.They use their last wish to restore all the planets and universes Buu destroyed along with the people he killed.Earth is now saved along with the billions of planets Buu destroyed.30 years later Goku realizes that it's himself and Vegeta attracting villains towards Earth.Goku meets up with Vegeta in space,With the little time he has left he wants to fight Vegeta for the last time before both them leave the universe for ever.Scientist while looking for stars saw supernovas while looking for stars they both admit to a stalemate and they both part ways forever.
