This is part 2 of my Curse of Black Adam series... thing. As usual, I wrote it all in a hurry since I'm pretty busy, to feel free to criticize. Just so you know, I have not chosen a super-name for Zidain, so feel free to suggest some.
Following the incident in Kahndaq, Zidain fled to the mountains to remain in isolation. There he mourned for his younger brother and began to master his abilities. As his skills developed, his anger grew. He thought of one thing and one thing only; revenge.
“No signs of that black marvel yet.” A hawkman repeated into his receiver.
“Then keep looking!” It yelled back.
“When I find that son of a bitch, I’ll make him pay for what he did!” The hawman said to himself.
A sudden presence was felt behind him.
“Will you now?”
The hawkman looked back, but was impaled by a sword. He looked in the eyes of the man who had just stabbed him.
“Who are you?” The hawkman asked with his dying breath.
“I’m the man you’re looking for.” Zidain answered.
He pulled his sword out and walked away.
“Freeze!” A hawkman yelled from afar.
Zidain turned around to see several hawkmen heading his way. He quickly dashed at them, not giving the first a chance to react to his punch. He sent the hawkman flying into a building. He then turned his attention to a second one, attempting to stab him, but the hawkman avoided the attack, giving another an opportunity to hit Zidain in the back, causing him to slam into the ground. Hardly affected, Zidain burst from the ground and grabbed the hawkman’s neck, snapping it almost instantaneously. He then proceeded to attack another, but was stopped by two other hawkmen who tackled him back on to the ground and began beating him with their maces. Feeling outnumbered, Zidain yelled “SHAZAM” and quickly moved out the way. A bolt of lightning struck the two unsuspecting hawkmen. Zidain got back up to see the startled hawkmen that remained. Stunned by what they just witnessed.
“Who’s next?” Zidain asked.
“I am.” A mysterious woman said.
He looked to see the stranger. The black haired woman he faced was none other than Wonder Woman herself.
“Not very good at hiding.” She said.
“Who said I was trying to?” He answered.
Without thinking, he charged at her attempting to strike her with his blade, but she evaded it and knocked him straight onto the streets of Kahndaq. Lightheaded, he looked around to see his frightened countrymen. To avoid casualties and more damage, he flew away in an attempt to lure Wonder Woman. He reached a deserted area where he waited. To his surprise, she didn’t pursue him. Suddenly, he felt an unbearable pain in the back of his head. He fell to the ground in agony as Wonder Woman stood over him.
“Is that all you’ve got?” She said. “What a waste.”
A sudden burst of anger surged through him. He got back to his feet and surprised her with a hard punch to her abdomen.
“I haven’t even started with you!” He yelled as he rushed her.
She attempted a punch, but he evaded it and grabbed her from behind.
“What do you plan on doing now?” She asked.
He wrapped his arms around her tightly and pointed her entire body at the sky. Just as she could figure it out, he yelled “SHAZAM!” Wonder Woman was struck by the large bolt of lightning, leaving Zidain unharmed. He dropped the injured Amazonian, believing that she could no longer fight back, he began to crush her head on the ground with his foot.
He looked at her with a cold expression on his face and said, “Now, you die.”
Suddenly, a red light began to emit from under him. It became brighter. So bright that it burned his eyes, forcing him to cover them and letting his guard down. An angered Wonder Woman blasted him with a powerful red beam of energy. With Zidain unable to counter after the blast, Wonder Woman rushed him with a tremendous blow, nearly knocking him unconscious. Just as the red Amazonian princess approached him, he once again yelled “SHAZAM!”. He attempted an escape, but Wonder Woman grabbed him and threw him into the lightning, causing him to change back into his mortal form, leaving him completely defenceless against her superior power.
“SHAZAM!” Zidain yelled.
Before the lightning could strike him, Wonder Woman smacked him out of the way.
“Now, you die!” She yelled as she dashed towards him.
Just before she could finish him off, she was knocked away by an unknown assailant. When she took a glimpse at the person who caught her off guard, she saw a young dark haired beauty dressed in white and gold.
“Who the hell are you?!” She yelled.
“Who am I?” The mysterious girl asked. “I am Isis!”
