This is a story told in the world named Perim; a realm of mystical adventures and epic legends. Perim has been built with a great level of detail, allowing all creatures and locations to have their own integrated story. The land has its legends and the places have their pasts. Before the world was inhabited by mighty tribes and humans use these creatures and their mighty abilities to compete in their Chaotic Games, there was the Cothica. The Cothica and the struggle to secure its power were the catalysts for endless battles throughout the world of Perim. An energy that was born beneath the surface of the world, the Cothica is power incarnated. It would only be a few years before those who learned its power would carry the great burden along with it…
The ancient world of Perim was savage and wild, filled with mysterious wonder and danger. Most of the creatures that inhabited the land were primitive while others grew more cautious. Some decided to reside the wildlife continue their primitive ways in the wild, while others grew curious to what lies beyond their land. Eventually several creatures made a unique discovery: the Cothica itself. Once the power of the Cothica was found, those who mastered its power became the Guardians of Perim. They would develop locations of mythical wonder and create magical spells that were connected though spiritual and musical power. This magic is known as Mugic.
As time went by, the roots of the realm would grow under their careful nurturing. Where there was life, the shrewdness of their magic and knowledge would saturate the realm. Like an incandescent star, their power would blossom as an impervious shelter beneath which all has lived long and prospered. While some Guardians have used this power for good, there were still those that became corrupted with power that the very idea of receding ascendancy sounded like a curse brought upon them. So the corrupted would fight to preserve their power while those who knew better would face their former allies. This sudden course of action would bring forth the War of the Guardians. The battles were so fierce that most of the Guardians sacrificed their own lives to protect the innocent ones that were unfortunately involved. The Last Guardian made one act to conceal the power of the Cothica in hopes of preventing anyone from learning of its power. While the founders of the world of Perim no longer organized the land, those who have squandered eons in the darkness now seek triumphs for their own. The very actions of these creatures would result in a new era and the secrets of the Lost City.
