Captain Marvel Meets Power Girl (Fan Fic)

Billy Batson, the kid newscaster, landed a big on air interview with Power Girl and Terra Atlee for his TV station WHIZ. That afternoon he welcomed the two to the studio and said “holy moly, what a great honor it is to interview you two!” Mary Batson and Freddy Freeman were at the studio too. First he asked P.G. what she enjoyed most about being a superhero. She said she enjoyed capturing the criminals and keeping the public safe. An extra bonus for her was to know her efforts were appreciated. Billy asked Terra the same question. She said she enjoyed beating up the bad guys and hanging around people like P.G. P.G blushed a little. Next Billy asked Terra if it is true that she comes from a subterranean realm beneath the surface of the Earth. Terra was about to answer when something unexpected happened. A noisy crowd burst into the studio. It included Dr. Sivana and his children, Ibac the Cursed, and Aunt Minerva. In the commotion Billy, Mary and Freddy said their magic words and became Captain Marvel, Mary Marvel and Captain Marvel Junior. A general brawl broke out but P.G defeated Ibac, Terra crushed Aunt Minerva. Captain Marvel squashed Sivana, Mary Marvel and Captain Marvel Junior captured the remainder. They tied the captives up and called the police. Mary felt something on her arm and quickly grabbed Mister Mind before he could hide in her costume. She put him in a jar with some small holes in its lid. Captain Marvel spoke to P.G and Terra Atlee and apologized for the disturbance. He looked P.G in the eye and thanked her for taking on Ibac. She reached out and hugged him tightly saying “You’re welcome!” Terra whispered to Mary that P.G is touched when people thank her. Then Captain Marvel thanked Terra for capturing Aunt Minerva. Terra said “no probs!” The police arrived and took the criminals into custody including Mr. Mind. Captain Marvel said “Well ladies, we should be going.” Seconds after the Marvels left, Billy, Mary and Freddie came back into the room. Terra said “You guys can’t fool us, you are the Marvels!” Captain Marvel turned red but they had a good laugh. The cameraman filmed the melee and broadcast it live. Callers were assured that it was really happening. P.G suggested that they go out for dinner in their civilian clothes to avoid detection. They had an enjoyable evening. The girls were talking privately and P.G said that Captain Marvel was cute. Terra said that Captain Marvel Junior was cute. P.G. said that the boys must adore Mary. Mary blushed a little, saying she was too young for that. Terra said that in a few years every guy Mary met would ask her to marry him. Mary blushed again and giggled a bit.
