Bridget and the Squid

Bridget, a librarian was vacationing at the beach. As she waded into the water a squid appeared suddenly and began to tickle her. Her initial response was "Eek, eww!" Then she began to giggle because it tickled. Then she thought that giggling sounded like she was enjoying it. She tried hard to stifle her giggles but it didn't work. She gave in to the giggling. She was too squeamish to touch the tentacle with her hand and remove it. So, she just had to bear it. After what seemed like an eternity, Bridget noticed that the tide was receding and leaving the squid behind. The squid struggled to hold on to Bridget, but the water was ebbing. Some passersby held on to Bridget as the squid became stranded on the sand. The fight continued until the squid reluctantly let Bridget go. She ran to her beach blanket and heaved a huge sign of relief.
