As Gamora turned around slowly, Natasha's peeping eyes flew back under the steam pipe. Natasha sat quietly, covering her mouth with her left hand. Natasha knew she couldn't jump out and attack, Gamora would easily overpower her. Natasha heard Gamora's footsteps. The footsteps grew closer. Then a shadow lurked over Natasha's body.
Gamora chuckled quietly to herself.
"Natasha, is that you?"
"Yeah it's me."
"What are you doing out here, the middle of winter?"
"Fury, SHIELD business."
"Ah, how's the rest of the team?"
"Fine, I guess."
"How's your relationship with Clint?"
"He's back with Bobbi."
"Well, that's depressing."
"Yeah, if you would say that."
"What do you mean?"
"I didn't really like him, he's a really close friend, but no more than that. I'm actually kind of crushing on Steve."
"Cap? Why him?"
"He's just a little nicer than Clint."
"He just has bigger muscles isn't it?"
"Yeah."
"So, um"
Gamora was interrupted when the building to the right of them exploded. Inside the rubble stood hundreds of AIM and HYDRA agents. Along with them was MODOK, Madame Viper, Baron Von Strucker and Red Skull. Natasha grabbed Gamora's leg and yanked her to the ground.
"Don't make a sound."
