Batgirl and Batwoman

Batman and Robin were away from Gotham City for a while and left Batgirl and Batwoman in charge. One night Batgirl and Batwoman were out on patrol and spotted Penguin and his gang leaving a bank and triggering an alarm. They gave chase and Penguin went into the sewer to escape. Our intrepid duo followed after them and eventually caught them before he reached his hideout. The problem was the girls smelled really bad. After taking Penguin and company to jail they returned to the batcave and get cleaned up. After their showers they saw each other's face for the first time other without their costumes and masks on. Batgirl said in unison "So that's what you look like!" They wnt back out on patrol but it was uneventful. They went back to the Batcave to get some sleep and clean their costumes. The next day they had breakfast about noon and talked about boys and girls. Batgirl said "I thought having a girlfriend would be easier than that." Batwoman said "Its not." That day they got a clue from The Riddler announcing his next crime. It was spelled out using letters clipped from the newspaper. It read "All that glitters is not gold. See if you can stop me you fools." After thinking about it Batgirl remembered that there was $100 million worth of gold stored at the Federal Reserve Bank in Gotham City. They rushed over and were shown the gold bars in the safe. Batwoman scraped one of them with her knife and found that it wasn't gold. There were some abandoned mine tunnels outside of Gotham City. The substitute caped crusaders rushed out to the mine. The Riddler had foolishly left a trail to follow. Batgirl and Batwoman caught up with him. After a brief but intense struggle they captured The Riddler and his gang. Batwoman said to The Riddler "It looks like all you are going to get is fool's gold for your efforts." The remainder of their time substituting for Batman and Robin was relatively dull. They did have to chase down some lesser criminals. When Batman returned they girls made their report and he thanked them.
