Would You buy a monthly title in the Marvel Team-Up Tradition starring the Marvel and DC "Cosmic Doorkeeper" character Access? Every Month Access would team-up with a different character from either universe, with adventures published on a rotating schedule by one Marvel and one DC creative team. This would allow for further expansion of Access's story, and would allow for a different inter-company crossover every month. Imagine he could be at the epicenter of
Marvel's "Civil war" one day and in up to his neck in DC's "Blackest Night" the next. Access can walk between the Marvel and DC universes, as well as "amalgamate" heroes together. If this was an actual book what would you want to see? Would you buy this? Further Ideas?
Amalgam comics Presents All-Access Monthly. Would You Buy it?
Because Marvel and DC created Access as a go between for their respective universes. The Thought of any other publishers getting involved on a monthly basis is very unlikely.
That actually sounds like a good idea. Although I would love to see the big 2 put their petty differences aside and attempt a few crossovers (like the sequel to 'Uncanny X-Men/New Teen Titans', a Teen Titans/Young Avengers team-up, and maybe Dick Grayson Batman/Bucky Barnes Captain America, or current JLA roster meets current Avengers roster), this could be a start. No one's seen hide or hair of Access for years, and I actually like the character.
