Wiki tasks thread

This is just a collecting point for information on wiki tasks.  Generally speaking I will try to keep this updated when I make new tasks just so that those of you who don't check the wiki tasks bar will actually know that there are wiki tasks to be had.   
 
Also I am not sure if you remember in the olden days (days of yore?) with Red L.A.M.P. but he used to take suggestions for themes for wiki tasks.  So if anyone feels like submitting themes for wiki tasks you can do that as well here.  This can be any theme you like, basic stuff like Transformers or weird stuff like characters with the word Tree in their name.   
 
At the moment there are five wiki tasks already in progress, I will be creating some more new ones soon.

@RazzaTazz: I finished The King and I'm in the process of spliting the Judomaster page. I have to say though, 400 points seems a little low for so much work, but it doesn't matter.

possible wikitask: some one's gone through and added the alt universe/non-canon deadpool kills the marvel universe #1 to various character's "died" issues........someone who's read it, need to go through and remove them? i don't know which characters died, but i already got invisible woman's and human torch's.

Speaking of which, looks like someone has been going through and removed death issues for various characters again... :(

The Reaper (DC) page needs a task. It's needs to be split into 3 different characters similar to the way Judomaster was.

New task for Disney's Lost Boys, not high profile but lots of points to be had

Hyperion and Doctor Spectrum, (and possibly other members of Squadron Supreme) could do with major revisions...............they're quite schizophrenic and just can't decide which reality to use as the "main" one to discuss the character. Hyperion's for example uses the Supreme Power continuity as the character's de-facto reality which is pretty darn bad for the purpose of these character pages. Especially considering he actually has a mainstream counterpart unlike Spectrum. It'd be like deciding Ultimate Spider-Man is more relevant than Spider-Man and listing all that Carnage killed Gwen Stacy stuff as how Gwen died. ¬_¬

@RazzaTazz: Just restructure the pages. like someone's already wrote out most the stuff ro hyperion, it's just tucked way under about 20 paragraphs of supreme power love. They're meant to be main continuity first not "coolest" continuity first or whatever, right?

idk, it's pretty simple. they've just chosen another reality as the basis for the page. screw it i'll just do it.

@RazzaTazz: the hyperion page...i mean it was pretty straightforwad.......basically someone just had made the page so it was entirely an alternate reality version of the character over the mainstream one..........like even the creation bit acted as if the character was created by jms in 2003 instead of back in 1969 when he was...created.

@RazzaTazz: Metamorpho could use a Wiki Task IMO. His page seems kinda bare.

@RazzaTazz The biography page for comics creator Dave Stevens contains personal opinions and writings by the author. The info should be biographical and informative, not an op-ed piece. I really think this should be modified.

@RazzaTazz: I could have done the same I guess. Wasn't trying to get a task for points for myself, just thought maybe someone had additional info about the man.

At least it got corrected, so thanks.

Famine could also use a task to change it to the guide.

Pestilence, Death, and War could use a change as well.

All right set those and one for Spike as well.

I'll go ahead and take on a few of those.

I just set a bunch of new Marvel related tasks.

K -- before I go to town on the Spirits of Vengeance clean-out task -- there is another page for Spirits of Vengeance here.

Do I clear out BOTH teams from each issue to clear the way for page deletion, or just the one specified in the wiki-task? Just want to make sure due to the sheer amount of issues, lol.

Dark Avengers

i hadn't realised before just how badly written this page is before. i've made a few changes notably the overview summary (which was so dated and poorly written before hand), and gave it actual headings (it was ALL under origin before) and the members section (remember when harry osborn and madame hydra were dark avengers? me neither). but now the problem is the actual content is far too specific and unimportant, there's far too many images, there's actually important stuff missing whereas irrelevant stuff like gargan taking his meds is written about and then the stuff towards the bottom is written so damn poorly it's embarrassing.

i don't really want to do this because i'd say most of the page needs a major rewrite and i don't care for Bendis Dark Avengers at all so i'm not a good candidate to do so but i'm sure someone does.

Warlock page is credited with a bunch of Adam Warlock appearances. They usually stand out since one is an X-character and the other is a Cosmic one.

You sure? New Mutants warlock also appears in some cosmic stuff like in Annihilation and some Quasar issues

I just set a couple of new tasks.  

@fesak: Be that as it may, there are still a bunch of Adam Warlock appearances credited to Warlock. Like this or the Infinity War issues of Quasar (Warlock was "dead" at that point) and a bunch of others.

Boba Fett's page could do with a better Major Story Arcs section, its all very jumbled. I would do it myself but I'm not very good at long writing. If necessary I could do it but it might be better to ask someone more skilled :)
