Wiki Sugestions - Can we do it?

I think that the wikis are perfect for everything but one thing. I think the wiki should say how people act (emotion, characteristic, attitude), that really interests me. I also like comparing them to me or people close to me.

That's the type of information that would be included under the Character Evolution heading.

Of course you can do it, it's actually encouraged. As jloneblackheart said, it goes under a specific section heading. :]

I've usually added a Personality H2 after Character Evolution.

Actually, can this be added to the style guide? Character Evolution, Powers and Abilities, and Personality H2 sections?

Usually when one talks about a characters evolution, you have to define and explain the character in order to demonstrate how they evolved or could evolve, hence personality discussion should just go under Character Evolution, which is the section generally dedicated to talking about the character as a fictional character which is probably the best way to describe the characters personality as opposed to the in story narrative which can be misrepresentative. Naturally you can also describe the character through the lens of other characters which makes talking about the characters personality in this context all inclusive.

So you can include how they act, behave and react and such in Character Evolution, just try to remember to give it an objective frame work and not just your own personal opinion. A lot of the personality sections from other wikias fail in this sense because it neglects to account that in comics characters can often have more than a few writers so trying to nail down characterization from an in story perspective can be limiting as well as not a good representation of a character.

No offense to the creator of the wiki guide but the sections weren't really expanded upon that greatly.

@jedixman: @xanni15: the style guide is just a starting point for header styles, the ones pre-defined should be included 99% of the time but sometimes things don't fit so adding other headers is fine

@pikahyper: I figured that might be what it was. Probably just wanted it to be a guide since that's what it was. :]

@xanni15: yep, they are loose rules though, some wiggle room.

Character Evolution is actually somewhat underused. It can use publication history, character history and even pop culture history. It is sort of a catch all

@xanni15: I guess the easy way to answer that is to say that any wiki entry should meet the scope of the character and the knowledge of the person writing into the wiki.
