What are the dimensions of the profile background images?

I'd like to make a proper background image for my profile. What dimensions should I use?

@wraithtdk: the dimensions depend on your resolution and the resolution of anyone viewing your profile, the height is a set value of 400px but the width is variable, the minimum width is 1160px for computers and the max is whatever your window width is.
