@avenging_knight: done
@pikahyper: Thank you.
New Main Photo for Dragon Man, better quality and more recent than his current.

@dryankee17: do you have anything bigger and without text? defaults shouldn't have text in them.
@pikahyper: That's the clearest photo I found for him, I can crop it to get rid of that
@dryankee17: close enough, just add it to the gallery.
@pikahyper: Done
@dryankee17: and done.

Thane (right)
I'm not sure about this one... he never reverted back from Black Vortex so this is the what he currently looks like, but there is text blocking the way. I'll leave it up to you to decide.

@avenging_knight: tad bit old but ok.
@pikahyper: Well, it is the first cover for the rebooted Ninjak series, making it "iconic" and official. Thank you.

@pikahyper: Can you change Ripcord's profile image back to the one above. Someone has changed it back to a image from the old continuity.
@captain13: done
@pikahyper: Thanks, can you do it one more time and tell the person who keeps changing it back to the old continuity to stop?
@captain13: done, we can't actually tell who changes a pic normally but luckily this time the user also uploaded the image so I told him to stop.
The main picture was changed because the character Rip-Cord is a white male in the canon title, that's the picture that's suppose to be used for the main pic, the color of his skin hasn't changed due to the fact that continuity is still ongoing.
The G.I. Joe titles where he's a black male is a non-canon title that ran in 2009 in Origins in issue #13 and then in 2011 to 2012 in Civil War in issue #6.
Major Continuity Differences
Rip Cord's race, which matches the movie version of his character.
Ripcord is introduced in G.I. Joe Origins #13, shown as being a young African American
GI Joe Origins was the start of the IDW continuity. While that title ended, the continuity continues in such series as G.I. Joe: Special Missions, G.I. Joe: The Cobra Files, G.I. Joe: The Fall of G.I. Joe, and Snake Eyes: Agent of Cobra. So, yes, Ripcord is currently African American.
In addition to the stories set in its central continuity, IDW has also released comics set in other continuities. G.I. A Real American Hero is an alternate universe that picks up from the old Marvel continuity. It's published by IDW, but it is not the main IDW G.I. Joe title. It's an alternate universe in the same way that pre-New52 Superman stories are set in an alternate universe.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G.I._Joe_(IDW_Publishing)
Please stop labelling the IDW universe under "other versions" and please stop changing his profile to old images from Marvel comics, which doesn't even publish GI Joe comics.
This is the image that should be used until there is another reboot or until there is a change in the main continuity.
Edit - Sorry about all of these requests, @pikahyper, but could you do this once more? Your help is deeply appreciated.
Edit - More on the IDW continuity which confirms what I posted earlier: http://www.yojoe.com/comics/idw/
He's only appeared in 5 issues in the canon title, he's still a white male. It doesn't matter if Origins started first, Real American Hero was picking up from issue #155 in 1995. There's been no official statement that the Real American Hero title (1982 to 2016) has been replaced by the Origins title, it's not the New 52 of G.I. Joe, if it was that title would have stopped, it hasn't.
As you said, the Real American Hero title is an alternate universe title picking up from the series that ended in 1995. Origins started the IDW continuity, which continues to release books and has been since IDW got the publishing rights. Real American Hero was recently introduced to pick up old fans from the Marvel series; it is not the main continuity. As indicated by the links I posted above. Right now, Ripcord is black in the main continuity, as he has been in almost every continuity beginning with the 2009 film.
@lsrotj: @captain13: ok by the rules the default image for a character should be whatever version is current or last used, now technically the IDW continuity would be considered the current version but IDW has not published anything from their universe for a while since they cancelled the last standalone G.I. Joe series (and he wasn't even in it) and G.I. Joe vs. Transformers is yet another continuity as far as I can tell and Ripcord has not appeared in it so the white version can be used as the default image but it has to be a recent image as in from an IDW issue, no more Marvel images or Marvel reprints released by IDW, if you can't come up with a newer image then fall back to the black one even though it is over five years old. As for the text on his page, since there are two versions "concurrently" both versions need to be covered chronologically, in the Origins section describe the white one first then the black one, same goes for the Major Story Arcs section but that should be broken into Marvel and then IDW. Info should not be deleted though unless it is incorrect, if it is accurate just shift it around.
@pikahyper: Gotcha. I updated the page, per your instructions, but someone keeps deleting everything. Here is how the page should look for now:
@lsrotj@razielwraith: Please stop deleting or shifting items on the page. And, as @pikahypersaid, stop using images from the Marvel comics era. You need to use IDW era images.
Can a mod please update the main profile image for Adam Riches to this image?
It's been 24 hours, @pikahyper, and neither @razielwraith nor @lsrotj have updated Ripcord's main image with something from the IDW era. Would you mind changing it back to my earlier request once more?

Yesterday I started a new page for a character, and I uploaded a piece of art for it. I was hoping the image would appear on the character's Wiki page. But it didn't. It did wind up in the gallery, though. It just isn't on the main page. I'm wondering why that would happen. The character is Miranda Mercury.
http://comicvine.gamespot.com/miranda-mercury/4005-126848/
Right now, the picture I uploaded is the only piece of art in the character's gallery. I don't see anything wrong with using this image for the main page. Does it have to pass some kind of inspection, or is there a problem with the image itself?
@pikahyper: Oh, OK, well in that case, can I request to use that image for the Miranda Mercury page?
ETA: I just checked the page and I see that the picture's there. Thanks!!
