How do you post pictures and scans?

Like if I wanted to show a picture of Batman as a comment or such,how do I do it?

@Spidermeat101: It's actually really easy.

first you'll want to save the image you want to your desktop.

Then you simply go to the toolbar above the text area, and click image. From there a box will come up that asks you where the image exists. Click desktop, find the image and open it, then click next.

then you'll have an option to edit the image, but sense my browser doesn't support the feature, I just click "No edit needed". Then your done!

Oh! I forgot to mention that after you open the image you want, another box will come up that asks you the position, and size you want the image in.

If you decide you want don't want it in that position/size after all, don't worry, you can always mouse over the picture and change it from there. :)

How do you post several images into the small side-by-side format?

I've seen other pages where they say to select side-by-side, but that doesn't appear as an option to me. I click 'insert image', then I can choose where to select it from, then I select the photo and am prompted on whether I want it s, m, or l, and how it is aligned. I never see an option for side-by-side or stacked, or am I just missing it?

@sentry4: I always upload via URL, after you upload 2 or more and hit confirm there should be an option for side by side or stacked.

Maybe it's only with URL you can do that, so if you want a URL from an image you have saved just go to Www.Imgur.com Upload it and Copy the direct link next to the image.

Just as a note, it does not have to saved to the actual desktop, can be saved in any directory and searched for.

Also any tablet should work as well if you go to the OS underlying the fancy user interface.

I have an issue with posting images when I line them up the way I want them with the side by side option, what happens is when I actually post them they appear in random order instead of the way I arranged them, anyone know how to fix this?

You can always install Crome to your phone - which is what I did. I find it's a better browser for this site and in general

I have uploaded the images into my CV gallery, but when commenting or posting, I never see an option to post them.

@lord_tenebrous: if you don't see the option on the tablet then the site is blocking you from doing it, it is not allowed from certain devices.
