First Appearance TV?

I've been working on a lot of animated heroes and villains lately and it occurred to me, how do I put their first appearance? Should I put the first comic they appeared in or leave it blank and right it somewhere in the overview?

First comic appearance, then mention in the overview where the actual first appearance was.

You have to find the comic that their first appearance is wherever it is in this database, add them to that issue and check the box that says first appearance.
