I've explained this seven or so times tonight alone and more times than I can count in the bug reporting forum, so I'd figured I'd save myself the trouble and make it a topic.

Comic Vine and Internet Explorer are pretty darn incompatible. If you're using IE then I can almost guarantee you're running into bugs that won't effect you on a different browser. Some are serious, some aren't. On top of that, people (or at least me) aren't getting notified when you @reply them, which can make conversing in the forums difficult. If you're at all able to, I would highly suggest switching to Google Chrome (which is what I use) or Firefox.

Nice :D

Google Chrome has been the best choice for me. Firefox was having a few troubles on the site, though that might have changed with the new upgrade.

@ Acer: What I disliked about Firefox was how compressed and boxy it was. The compressed issue was fixed with version four, but I still definitely prefer Chrome.

IE9 works pretty well...you can only get this with Windows 7. Also try Maxthon, Chrome does the job for Comicvine. In all honesty IE is still behind the times when compared to the others, IE9 is totally ripping off Chrome and just does not shape up.

Hate when companies put a restriction on which browser you can use.. I get limiting the websites, but browsers is just pointless.

@Final Arrow They've fixed the bug then? I know nothing other than IE7 was working for it after the update.

@jloneblackheart yes :(

IE9's minimum requirement is Windows Vista. You need either Vista or 7, but XP won't work. :(

Yeah, run Chrome from a USB stick.
