Cannot remove picture and background from settings page

Hello,

I have a picture that I uploaded that is all screwed up and another that I uploaded as a background both of which I want to delete but I cannot find how to delete them on the settings page. I went to the images page and deleted the screwed up one and I am comfortable leaving the other one listed in my images section but I cannot get the fact that I deleted the screwed up one from the images page to be acknowledged by the settings page. I also keep trying to change the setting for the tiling section to "none" but when I click save it reverts back to "no" instead of "none". How do I fix this?

@wndrwmn: those images can only be overwritten with a new one not removed.

@pikahyper:Ugh! Thank you for letting me know.....I really think they need to redesign that to allow for image deletion.
