Dr. Doom is transported to DC earth, what happens next?

How much power can Doom get in a DC world? In marvel he owns a country and is feared among most. What will his reception be in DC?

Nothing. He'd be a scrub in DC.

He'd get pounded into canned hamburger meat. A lot of magicians in DC stronger than him... I mean, he has to do this ceremonial stuff and etc to perform magic. There is a chick in DC who just has to speak backwards.

If he is just literally dropped into DC, I dont see him being much of a threat for years. And even then, he isnt going to be particularly more dangerous than say Lex Luthor (or especially someone like Brainiac). Still, he would surely be able to eventually reach the level of threat on a National Scale.

If you give him resources and contacts in the DC, then he could be a large scale threat immediately.

He'd first probably try and figure out why he was transported there without garnering too much attention. He'd study the beings in this universe and devise a plan to gain the trust of some of the more influential characters(Lex more than likely). From there it just depends on who takes notice and decides to step in on his plan.

Just because they have more powerhouses than Marvel, doesn't mean Doom would be useless; He's easily one of the top prep masters in Marvel, and would probably end up stealing someones powers. He's only second to Reed.

Well first Doom would gain the majority in stock holdings for Wayne and Queens Enterprises making Batman and Green Arrow depressed homeless drunkards so there's 2 heroes dead to alcohol poisoning. After gaining control of the corporations Dr. Doom would then beat out Luther kill him with sorcery and prep and gain control of his company and gain all his Kryptonite. Dr. Doom would then pose as a new superhero in the Justice Leagues and use his new Kryptonian stores to kill superman Superboy and Supergirl and after that he would BFR DD into another dimension there that's 7 people taken care of. He would then gain control of the tower and with his charisma would gently sway the JL into becoming the Justice Lords. The remaining heroes become evil and Doom manipulated the U.S. government and Cadmus along with making an alliance with Darkseid to wipe out the JL. The JL is dealt with easily all except for MMH who is taken down by a combined effort of most of the villains in the DC Universe. Doom then manipulated the world until he is the Emperor of the Earth he then spreads out his Doombots and conquers the Milky Way Galaxy eventually taking on the Darkseid with the help of the New Gods but in reality he betrays the New Gods with only Darkseid as his opponent. He destroys Darkseid with his superior prep and is Emperor of the Universe. The Spectre try's to defeat him but can't face Doom with his awesome prep skills and the Thought Robot so he falls and then the Presence itself bows down to Doom's superior prep and names him God of the DC Universe.

Bored with having beat the entire DC Universe Doom goes back to the Marvel Universe with his god powers and promptly gets his ass handed to him by the Fantastic 4.

Of course he would lose, but he could do some damage with the right amount of prep.

If we are turning PIS up to 11, than Batman just easily disposes of Doom, traces his energy signature back to Marvel, easily defeats the Marvel U and face stomps Stan Lee himself, and wonders what the big deal was all along.

Nobody has more PIS power than Batman.

I would easily put Batman's PIS powers above Doom's, id even say it was no contest.

Who is actually a more powerful character? Dr. Doom obviously, but there are 100s of characters who could easily defeat him as well. My point was that your whole argument seemed to be based on PIS (I actually thought you were joking, in fact), which is a battle Batman would easily win, 10/10.

@deaditegonzo: yea I saw a mod, Saren I think, get into an argument where someone said captain America was the king of PIS and then Saren made a huge post, with instances and scans showing how much More PIS batman has.

I think you guys are majorly underestimating doctor doom............. not just anyone can steal power from someone like the beyonder and the beyonder is stronger than everyone in DC not related to the presence. BTW people in DC are not stronger as a rule............. Classical Dr. Strange, Franklin Richards, and a lot of others could solo most of the DC universe. Prep-time for batman is a stupid argument when comparing it to prep-time for doom or strange. Doom would honestly probably end up in almost the same situation in DC that he's in in marvel (joker and lex luthor are considered major villains and dr. doom makes them look like a joke and you're seriously saying he would do no damage)

Your first point is a complete fail. How does he gain any shareholding in anything with no funds what so ever??? He's just been teleported to DC not sent with any of his normal resources. Since both companies aer supposed to fortune 500 it would take several years with no resources and just the know how to acquire the funds to acquire 20% of 1. Obviously no need to go any further

He'd immediately find out Clark was Superman and laugh at Lex supposed genius couldn't figure that out years ago. Doom to Lex "you were fooled by a pair of glasses? Really?" Then he would take DC only valuable character Batman back to Marvel telling him you won't miss it here we will treat a lot better and surround you with other popular characters. Batman then says "yes! Now I never have to team up with the Aqualame ever again!"

I would say he starts from the bottom again, and because a lot of his tech makes DC human tech look like firecrackers he gets rich very fast. He then travels back in time and kills all the heroes before they become powerful, and saves batmans parents making the waynes his lifelong friend and then takes over wayne. He takes over checkmate as the black king and begins putting out assassinations on powerful people and absorbs luthor inc. Then using the superman hes had raised as his own son, and all the superboy/girl clones,he takes out green lantern Abin Sur as he flies over Earth and masters his ring in the coming years. He becomes an ally of Atlantis by doing some eco protection or something and Themyscira by establishing a utopia on earth. He then takes ras al ghuls lazarus pits to rejuvenate himself every once in a while. He rules for the next 100 years gets bored and goes back to attack marvel with superman and a GL ring.

Beyonder is no more powerful that a 5th dimensional Imp and Ultra Humanite stole the reality warping power of one of them and so did the Joker. Said ultra Humanite with prep once altered the cosmic balance to erase the existence of all heroes from earth so he could rule (of course the he was betrayed by villains who hated him more than their no longer existing enemies). Classic strange is no more powerful than Classic Fate. He may be slightly ahead in the use of magic but Classic Fate also had the physical powers of Superman and energy and matter manipulation powers on SS level, not to mention TK strong enough to move a planet into a sun and powerful TP. There are also just as many beings in DC with power levels at and above Franklin Richards as there are at Marvel. When it comes to power levels neither company really has anything over the other. The absurd pissing game that some fans of each like to play to try and elevate one to a higher status was tiresome decades ago.

Personally I would see him uniting his people and getting latveria back on the map first. Diplomatic immunity would be his first goal.

Doom douses his self with chemicals to give him the speed force. Then acquires a yellow lantern ring and the helmet of Dr. Fate and a bunch of other stuff, then dominates.

he can summon an army of daemons on the fly could use his ovoid mind switch to switch bodies with manhunter use his powers mixed with doom tec and magic to destroy the league take there knowledge and equipment to take over the villians he rules earth ubtil some cosmic entity shows up or until he attacks marvel universe with his new tec and tricks.

As soon as Doom starts spouting his one-note schtick, "I am DOOM", "DOOM is POWER", "Even GOD fears DOOM", he's finished. The super heroes won't even have to get involved. Lex Luthor will take care of the one-note pony lol

even though marvel has more powerful gods and heroes, DC has faster superheroes overall, so I do not see doom winning against easy.

@demonknights: no he wouldn't he would do just as well as he does in marvel maybe better because no one there would know what he is capable of imagine if he stole wally's body and could move as fast as flash he could prep 100,000 years worth in a millisecond with his brain and wally's speed he would rule there world in under an hour.

This is what I believe would REALLY happen. He would find out where the hell he was and when he realized he's not in his multiverse anymore he would find out all he could about this new place. Realizing most of the history for this world is similar to his own besides the heroes and villains being replaced he would start selling some of his more basic tech to get a solid amount of money which he would then invest and profit a lot because of his genius level intellect using this money he would start his own company/corporation much like Lexcorp so he has a source of money to fund his projects. The heroes would not know about him so a long as he didn't do anything majorly villainous he could stay under the radar undetected. During all this time Doom would have been learning about all his potential enemies and competition and would have devised a plan to exploit all their weaknesses. In all this time it would have taken about a year for Doom to have created his own majorly successful corporation and created all the tech he had back in marvel along with forming contingency plans to take out all the heroes and villains on Earth. I can't say what would happen next other then he would be a vastly more intelligent more powerful and more successful Lex Luthor.

If someone wants to continue my idea they may but apparently you have to be super realistic otherwise the majority of the CV posters will think you are serious and call you a fail. :/

Doom has pretty good feats to be a top tier villian.

His magic doesn't even need words to summon anymore.

He tanked blast from Thanos

He has tanked Hulks full on assault

Plus his genius intellect

But since his just popped out of nowhere and became a hobo, then I don't know.
