am I the only one who thinks that Optimus Prime riding Grimlock is incredibly dumb?

... So, I'll admit I fell off the wagon a bit, missed... every Transformers movie after the second one. Should I get caught up? Should I bother getting hyped about this? I mean... Grimlock says yes. But I need more than his say so.

Why are you going to make me watch this right after I just saw that awesome Winter Soldier trailer? Oh god so much slow motion and dub step........

No, it's about Mark Wahlberg. What made the last movies bad were Megan Fox and Shia Labeouf. Wahlberg rocks. Plus, GRIMLOCK!

@jonsmith: It's micheal bay with giant robots. It's a dumb and I mean DUMB movie with crap attempts at comedy and it has Sheila buff in the first three movies and he is bad actor and a douche. So to ripound up they are fun movies if you look past the human characters and just want a dumb robot movie with explosions.

Humans still suck. But still looks like it's going to be a great mindless action movie. Looks like I'll be seeing this on its mid-night release date like I did with the last 3.

I really hate that people give the excuse of "it's just a dumb robot movie"....that's not the reason the first three movies were bad...the reason was Michael Bay not taking the source material seriously either....the Transformers have a story and universe just as deep and rich as Marvel or DC....if the movies were taken seriously as something other than "dumb robot movies" then we could have gotten something truly spectacular but instead Michael Bay got a hold of them and turned them into explosions and Megan Fox mid drift and cleavage movies

I want Grimlock to be like he was in Fall of Cybertron. Giant sword and all. Have him and Optimus side by side vs 10 Decepticons.

Always loved Grimlock, but haven't been impressed with any of the Transformers movies.

How I despise m.bay, but it's got Marky Mark so I'm willing to give it another chance. But if he makes Prime look like a bitch again I'm gonna have to take some drastic action.

Oh and more robots jumping and flipping... -_-

How the hell are they still making this films? Who is paying to see this $#!%....? Someone is, because they are still making these god awful movies! People just stop! Friends don't let friends see Transformer films...........

plot? what plot? you could have watched any of the movies and not have watched the rest and you would have been fine....all you need to know is: Alien robots come to earth then explosions!! that's the plot

@darkbeam: I'm not too fond of Bays interpretation of Transformers either. Transformers has been without a doubt my favorite franchise ever since I was little and watched Armada, Energon and Cybertron. Then I went back and watched Beast Wars, Beast Machines and even went out and bought all 4 seasons and the movie of G1 and loved all of it! Animated was ok and Prime was definitely great. But I saw the first 3 movies on their midnight release dates with my dad so it's kind of a tradition for us to go and see them.

I do wish they would just kick Bay out of the directors seat and reboot the movies franchise. Make a movie based on something like War for Cyberton or Fall of Cybertron would be great!

@danhimself: Danhimself, I agree with you completely. Transformers have a very deep and rich history. People are just being dumb and only thinking of the movies instead of something like G1, Armada/Energon or even Beast Wars.

Looks good. My son is a huge fan of the Transformers the movies. We'll definitely be watching it together. :)
