The ending to Deadpool #45 (Major spoilers)

So, for those of you that have read it, what just happened? Why did the planet suddenly get destroyed? Have I missed something?

@godofmischief: It was an incursion. If you haven't been reading the new avengers or the avengers 2015 comics.

Worlds from different universes are colliding with each other, the new avengers and the cabal were destroying worlds, trying to save 616 (the mainstream universe)....... But 616 (mainstream universe) and 1610 (ultimate universe) have collided. After that it will form battleworld with characters from other universes, as well as 616 characters (our characters) and 1610 characters (the ultimate characters). I miss Deadpool.

Yes you did miss something. Marvel bringing Miles Morales to the 616 with some cross over to merge the worlds to make money

As someone who hasn't been reading anything BUT Deadpool...

How does everyone else survive Incursion? Is Deadpool (and gang) the only ones that die from this?

@heatblaze123: Thank you, that makes a lot more sense. I'd completely forgotten about the whole incursion thing for some reason.

We find out during the Secret Wars crossover. Chances are, they're not the only ones who die and deaths can very easily be undone after the crossover.

Wouldn't he just be regenerating in space? The plight of immortals is to find themselves trapped in unlivable situations. Just like being buried alive, wouldn't he regen then asphyxiate over and over again until something else happened?

@raktus: He was completely incinerated, not even an atom left. I think marvel just forgot that ''immortality'' bit.

As an aside... I just got around to reading Hawkeye vs Deadpool...

Seeing him in the role of Dadpool makes the ending all the sadder.

Thank God! I always hated Deadpool.
