The DC animated movie is like a continuity, the jl war was like the intro of the new52 animated continuity and it's following the comic story arcs.

So is secret society next since luthor(finally making an appearance) went to belle reeve to offer Orm a deal or forever evil since they seem to be following the comic story arcs(though with few/some modifications).

And could this eventually lead to a series?

Maybe? I feel like they'll do a Forever Evil movie eventually, especially since they just did Throne of Atlantis and are about to release a Batman film that adapts Court of Owls.

@outside_85: seems like it; Id prefer if they'd do a blackest night film. It's one of Johns' better works

Mostly likely Secret Society but with Forevil Evil´s plot and tittle. But in other hand Lex Luthor could just recruit Ocean Master to fight Crime Syndicate.

Problem with it, and quite a few other events by Johns, is that you need to heavily edit or explain certain things in order for it to make sense. BN for instance you nearly have to explain what any named corpse is supposed to mean once it shambles into view.

Like if they edit it so Batman is around and it's Todd's corpse that appears... then you have to explain a dead Robin, and it just gets worse if you assume everyone's watched Under the Red Hood and think the two movies are connected.

Remember how much was changed in the Death of Superman (Doomsday)? Thats just going to get much worse if you try and tackle an event.
