New DC Animated Series

How about a new52 cartoon series which would be in JL War universe?

I don't know if CN wants a serious action show. They canceled Young Justice, GL, and Beware the Batman (?) in favor of the very goofy TT Go! Marvel's current series on Disney are pretty goofy as well. I think they're looking for a goofier bent. Also, JL War is not exactly kid-friendly. I wouldn't mind seeing them adapt JLA Adventures into a new animated series, but that also seems unlikely. Warner Bros. animation is pretty awesome, but CN sucks.

I'd like to see the Flash get his own animated show. He has a big enough supporting cast and rogues gallery.

Well as much as I would desire for DC's shows to be on the hub, it's (sadly) unlikely. I think DC's animated shows should be on Netflix because I've completely given up on Cartoon Network at this point.

Atm I'd only be immediately interested in a more serious take on Teen Titans than the original show. I could be interested in an animated take on Lobdells New52 TT, but only because they would need to rewrite so much of it to make it work :)

What could be great as an original New52 animated series; JLD. Take Lemire's concept of having a core of characters the show nearly always features and add some extra's from mission to mission. (There will be some problems with Constantine's drinking and smoking)

They should try something like nick TMNT

I wish, that would be awesome...Maybe not set in the JL War universe, seems a bit too dark for children, but I'd love for a New 52 animated series.

And why should it be even based on the New52?! Well, Stuart Snyder is gone so hopefully we'll get another dc animated show.

Maybe one based on the JLA Adventures movie.

Well the CN head just got fired: Farewell To Stu Snyder, The Man Who Tried To Make Cartoon Network Cartoon-Less, so maybe things are looking up.

We already had that, it was called "Young Justice Invasion"

I would want a:

• Nightwing
• Booster Gold
• Red Hood?

That's some seriously good news. Maybe they should bring someone from Warner Bros. animation to head CN and CN Studios. Better yet, put CN Studios subordinate to WB animation. Kind of like when John Lassater took charge of Walt Disney feature animation and Pixar.

@mrmiracle: Yeah that be a good idea, since WB animation is (while hasn't released any recent films in a while (The Lego movie?) still known for its rich history and superhero animation. So that would be a good idea. If that does happen I want to see a Plastic man cartoon (because those shorts are so good.)

And I agree with the people saying that CN seems to be aiming towards a younger audience & won't be having any "serious" super-hero show anytime soon.

That'd be awesome. It can loosely follow Johns' run on BG, and follow some of DC's classic story lines.

Wonder Woman TAS. If WB is to scared to give Diana her own film would it really be too much to give her an animated series?
