Poll: Do you guys want the superman/wonder woman series? (346 votes)

Yes 44%
No 39%
Indifference 16%

I've heard many people say they do and many say they don't. So I made this poll to get a better understanding. I honestly don't mind their relationship although i still think Clark should be with Lois and the trinity should not date. But superman and Wonder Woman being together right now doesn't bother me too much really because its looking like it might end in trinity war

Therefore I do not want an ongoing series about their relationship. The batman superman series is good because its action am about their developing friendship but a series about wondys and supes love sounds silly. Why not make a trinity book instead?

Thoughts?

Nope.

Yes. I don't really care for their relationship to be honest. I just want to see how this comic all plays out. The villains, the story, I can't wait! Who knows? Maybe I'll even like their relationship after this comic.

Once again, if it was Batman/Wonder Woman people would be all for it.

I'm indifferent. It could be a good book for sure, but not something I'd pick up.

Terrible idea for a comic

Why not?

It looks good so far.

@dtslanterncorps: true but there is nothing wrong with that. People just obviously like that pairing more.

I would much rather have either another solo Wonder Woman book.. or a Wonder Woman/ Batwoman book...

The problem people have with this comic is, they think it will be a Supes/=W= love story.

@dtslanterncorps: I thought they said it was going to be about their relationship? Correct me if I'm wrong. Most people just don't want to see them kissing every month in a book. I don't mind them but I want action in this book too.

You're talking like they will be kissing on every page.

@dtslanterncorps: not what I meant. It was an exaggeration. Just meant that I don't want a book based solely on their relatoonship

I'm all for the book as long as it isn't like a drama and has a lot of focus on the action and supes and ww fighting alongside each other. Although, I think a Trinity comic would be better.

I'll wait but the dude isn't encouraging me with talks of them boning each other

@gator4eva: As much as i probably wouldn't be interested in a drama/romance comic, sometimes its good to try new things and have some variety, i mean if you want action then theres a long list too choose from. But maybe theres people who'd like a drama comic for instance i'm really liking the New Larfleeze book (at least the 1st issue anyway) because it is for the most part a comedy book.

I'm gonna go with a big don't care, I would prefer if their relationship was at an end, but maybe this will be where the relationship doesn't suck.

No.

No, no, no, no and no again.

I don't know...I haven't read it yet

I'm more that ok with them trying new ideas....it would be nice if they tried new ideas with different characters other than their most popular

they keep giving Batman and Superman more and more titles and yet fans are still begging for Wally, Donna, and Cass Cain to come back

I'm not a huge fan of their relationship, but I am not opposed to a new comic book. Maybe they will change my mind and make the relationship seem more interesting. There is a lot of potential in this title, and I for one am excited to see how it turns out.

Because that's a good pairing that benefits both characters.

Superman/Wonder Woman just hurts both Superman and Wonder Woman.

Awful pairing. Hopefully this stupid series will tank hard.

I'm totally ambivalent.

I want any book that puts Diana in the spotlight

Even one that relegates her into being "Superman's Girlfriend"?

simply put: YES

their relationship is so crappy in JL that for me this is a necessary book

#36 Posted by The Stegman (23187 posts) - - Show Bio

I'm conflicted, I don't really care for Superman being in the title, but I agree that Wonder Woman DOES need another series.

There's a chance of it turning into a regular team-up book if the pairing doesn't last.

@billy_batson: That's cool, but would it be a Superman team-up, or Wondy team-up book?

Probably more like World's Finest and Superman/Batman in the past :p

Neither character needs this many ongoings.

First,Superman shouldn't be in so many books.Second,if Soule manages to make this relationship even a little good it would be great but I doubt it.And last but not least,no I don't want this book.

Well hot damn, if anything they need to cool down on the Batman books.

I'd like them to hook up and stay together, at least try for a while, but it would always be doomed. Lois is a forgone conclusion I think, so it's hard to get excited about any new possibilities

They should indeed but DC know that Batman sells better than Superman and that is why we receive so many Batman books.

It's called the money, if it was the flash that was the cash cow, he would have 17 books as well.

It's like they don't care about anyone else.

Well if Flash was getting DC so much money as Batman he would indeed have as many titles as him but he doesn't so DC publish in what they are secure.

They need to learn to take risks, i bet people would buy the crap out of a MMH series, but nooo..... Harley Quinn -_-

No, but this book is still going to make a nice amount of money at least for a few months. I was hoping that the relationship would end. I see how this is doing either character justice.
