DC Comics New 52 sales August 2014

First up the regular issues things to note this month we had Harley Quinn double ship so that's why its here twice and Justice Leauge 34 was delayed as was Superman Unchained 8 which is why there not here.

The Superman Doomed Cross Over is also going through all the Superman books except for Superman. Finally Batman 34 is the first issue out of Zero Year.

Nice supergirl went from 22 to 26k.. sad people are not buying gi zombie and infinite man..

Yup if it's not Batman or Superman it just doesn't seem to sell. I guess Doomed was the reason for the bump and the rumor of the TV show going around for Supergirl.

Futures End next month really intrested in seeing how much of a diffrence all the 3D covers make.

Supergirl solo series always seem to last. vol4 was 81 issues and (vol. 5): 67 issues

@greenarrowfan12: That's good to hear she has also been appearing all over the place the last few months it is one of the few books growing month in month out.

Plus she is getting a new creative team I hope she not angry all the time.. I kinda miss the Linda danvers version just finish reading all 80 issues it was great..

Batwoman is totally getting canned within the year -.-

Yup the cover of issue 36 gives me hope , shes actually smiling it would have been a waste of the fantastic Red Daughter of Krypton Arc if she goes back to being angry again.

@greenarrowfan12: I doubt it people are getting pretty sick of "The Death Off" story lines so far in the last two years we have had Peter Parker , Damien Wayne , Superboy and now Wolverine and why kill her off when her book is actually growing.

She's also getting a new writer Kate Perkins, a playwright who's making her first appearance writing comics. Hopefully the new creative team and her possible show will boost sales.

Looks like GI Zombie ain't doing so good. Poor Palmiotti, always writing such good obscure books, he's ice skating up hill. I also hope they get a new creative team for Constantine, he has a show coming and needs better sales.

@greenarrowfan12: Meh, I'm not really a fan of those other desighns. If she does get a new costume, I either hope it resembles her pre 52 look, or for it to be an all new design, similar to Batgirl getting a new look. In any case they should make it a cute look that appeals to girls.

Glad to see Multiversity and Detective comics in the top 5, Batman and Robin is doing great too. Wish Flash gets a big bump. And can't believe Harley is selling 70+ K issues.

DC, after all, IS Detective Comics. Most of their Top 20 issues are Batman, or Bat family titles. According to that source, the Bat Family sold 830,808 books, out of DC's total 2,334,982. Superman's first solo book comes in at #18.

Some people always seem so upset when another Batman related book comes out, yet the proof is in the pudding here. 7 of the top 10 are Bat related in some way. Counting the weeklies, that would be 8 of the top 10, with 3 more in the top 15. Bottom line, Batman sells. Just wait till the new books come out. An expected surge for #1s will likely fuel those numbers.
