Are you a fan of the Villain's Month idea?

I'm not yet sure what to think about villain's month, so I was wondering your opinions. Do you think it's going to be awesome or that DC is trying to take as much money as possible? Also, will you buy them?

It could be awesome but there are just way too many comics. The fact that some titles have four issues coming out that month is ridiculous.

I think it's a nice idea. I don't mind it.

I wasn't going to buy any at first. I was going to try and save my wallet.

My friend posted a list of the comics and said "One word. Lobo.". I fell for it.

I like the idea, but it's expensive as hell.

I'm a huge fan of the idea. An entire month dedicated to VILLAINS. Finally! FOREVER EVIL!!!

this. i haven't bought any comics in a while. Villains month probably wont change that

Since I buy digital, $4=$3 if you wait a month, so my Villain's Month purchase (with some issues from titles i get about villain's I don't care about deleted) I have got my price down to a minimum of $57 and a maximum of $72. Still a lot, but nowhere near as bad as I thought.

I'm a fan of the idea, I just wish it took place over a larger period of time with the same amount of comics so I could afford more.

I think most people are thrilled by the idea of villains getting a whole month. The obvious problem is the money it's going to cost everyone to get the issues they want. I buy my comics digitally but I want to see this new comic cover that's going to be on the forever evil covers. Does anyone know whether or not this unique cover is somehow put on the digital covers or are they only able to be used on the physical copies?

DC's Villains are leagues ahead of their heroes in terms of coolness. I couldn't be happier.

Yes! I think it's a perfect opportunity for Dc noobs to get introduced to some amazing villains ( new ones and old).

I absolutely love it! And im assuming it will be a seperate story so no one has to buy all of them.

It's a great idea - and not for anything, it does makes sense from a collector's point of view.

Just waiting (hoping) Marvel does the same thing some time in the near future.

I was waiting for someone to give a total to all the comics. Over 200 bucks, wow!!

This has got to be what just about every DC fan is thinking. So many book that look good!

I see it as a month where I don't have to buy any DC comics.

Unfortunately a bad wow, lol. Thats a lot of money....at least to me. I guess Ill just have to pick the ones I want the most.

It'll be a nice little break. I think the smartest thing to do is have them connect to the stories being told. The Reverse Flash and Riddler will hopefully tie in directly with Flash and Zero Year

I prefer having a one-shot month for heroes who don't have an ongoing.

I like the idea of it but my wallet says other wise.

Actually I'd love to see a hal jordan/sinestro series. They have such great chemistry, they are kind of like batman/superman and goku/vegeta( but a bit more like these guys). It'd be a great series

Cant wait it looks awesome especially with the creative teams Greg Pak writing Darkseid Doomsday and Zod with 3 great artists Geoff Johns doing Secret Society Forever Evil and Black Adam and I know not everyone likes the character or the writer but I do Scott Lobdell doing HEL and Jim Starlin on Mongul badass plus Sholly Fisch return to Superman with Bizarro and Mettallo oh my poor wallet.

My wallet is taking the news of what it's going to go through in September very, very hard.

@rustyroy: It would be good,but villains with ongoing series doesn't last long in DC comics look to Deathstroke and Shade.

I must be one of the few people who don't like villain's month. Not only are the titles $3.99 a piece but some of them aren't even obligatory. I suppose it just seems a bit gimmicky to me. I'll only be buying one anyway so my wallet will be fine.

They were cancelled because of low sales and DS's reputation was destroyed because of Leifeld, Sinestro is bigger name and with a good writer and the right push he can do great.

@rustyroy: I know,but there is so much Green Lantern ongoing relatives out there as well the bat/super relatives, wish there was room for other characters and some of these titles would end, but of course I agree that he get own ongoing.

I think there isn't much suprise that Batman n Robin will end,then Gleason and Tomasi would take on the title.
