I'd like to see Cyborg take on some of these guys:
Who are Some Villains Who You Want Cyborg to Fight?
I'd like to see him fight...
1) Blackfire
2) Dr. Cyber
3) Lex Luthor
4) Metallo
5) Brainiac
6) Livewire
7) Jinx
1. Amazo (or just Ivo and his creations in General)
2. Metallo
3. Brother Blood
4. Brainiac
5. Heatwave: (The villain from Flashpoint)
6. Some new villains
I'd say Cyborg has roughly 3 distinct options for ideal villains.
Option #1: a tech villain. this could be a genius mad scientist type like Ivo, or a robot like Metallo, Amazo or Brainiac. And the fight would either come down to who has the better tech or ingenuity in a fight
Option #2: a magic based villain. Magic being completely foreign and confusing to Cyborg. Therefore, having him clash with an opponent that is his polar opposite could be very challenging.
Option #3: have Cyborg battle a Brute. This option moreso simply because it would be an action packed fight. Have Cyborg face and opponent that is pure savagery and brute force. Someone like Solomon Grundy, or Mamoth or similar to the Lizard from Spider-Man.

Some forgotten C-list villains,if written well can become greatcharacters
B'aad and De'cine
B'aad and De'cine are aliens cyborg, from planet Kreno long enemies of Almerac and later enemies of Steel. It would beinteresting to seea storywhereDe'cinewants to add Earth to itsdomains, buthe isaware thatthisplanet isfull ofsuper-powered beingsandthat one of themisthe key todefeatall others andthe totalcontrol of the planet:Cyborg. Since he is connected with Earth's computers and the Grid (remember a metahuman database),so he sent B'aad kidnap Vic to acess his files.
Lightning Bug,The Thinker and Suicide King. (As the Network)
Twovillains from theBatmanand oneof theFlash, thatwould make agreat combination. Afterhis lastattempt tosubduethe whole technologyof the planet, being interrupted b Cyborg,The Thinker discover the Grid then examinesthe technologyand createsa wayto hide from them: The Network and thusassemblesa team ofmercenariesto assassinatesuperheroesand so havefree wayto act.
You guys are kidding when you say you want Cyborg to fight someone like Amazo, Braniac, Henshaw and Dr. Polaris, right?
Seriously Cyborg isn't anywhere near these guys. It wouldn't be fair to nerf them so Cyborg can kick their asses.

You don't have to nerf them, you know? You could just boost Cyborg up to that level. He's on the Justice League as a founder, so he should be on that level anyway. *SMH
There's no reason he shouldn't be able to use strength, speed, flight, cannons, orbital bombardment, assimilated tech, and boom tubes to take down heavy hitters.

Considering some of these gents have taken down the entire League with barely more than a few hand gestures and some blinking, yes, you would have to nerf the hell out of them if you want Cyborg to face them one-on-one. Hell, people like Brainiac and Henshaw could kill Vic literally just by looking at him, and none of his powers would even work against them ----- they're both far better at the technopathy game than Cyborg could hope to be.

But that would be equally pointless. You do realise Amazo is a one man JLA so having Cyborg fight him would be stupid as it would make him a one man JLA. And when written well, Amazo is an easy teambuster. Cyborg wouldn't have any chance against him.
Then we have Brainaic. Depends on which version you use but he's mainly a Superman rogue and has accumulated tech from a myriad of worlds. I fail to see why Cyborg would even register a threat to him.
Now Bane knows more about Cyborg Superman than I do but Pre Flashpoint, he's one shotted Superman without Qwardian Rings, is an insanely powerful technopath and has a myriad of abilities. There should be no way Cyborg should be amped to any level to deal with these guys. No conceivable way.
@lvenger: Agreed and not to mention thatthis new version ofAmazo, might not only havethe powers andabilitiesof the sixoriginal members, but also Cyborg. Imagining Amazo with Apokoliptian tech give me chills.
So what about my options above?
@matchesmalone21: Old name villains but they may be able to be retooled enough to pose a threat to Cyborg and be seen as unique adversaries to him.
@lvenger: Yes,I research DC characters a lot to write that, forgotten villains are the best o be rebooted and we know how much Geoff Johns love underrated characters. I just wish cyborg get his ongoing
@matchesmalone21: There are plans for Cyborg, Shazam and Manhunter apparently. These 3 need their own books now.
@lvenger: cool
@lvenger: I'm waiting for that...liking Martian Manhunter JLA's back up?
@matchesmalone21: Haven't been reading it but apparently it's good.
@lvenger: You should read it (LOL),its pretty good.

Expanding on this, I'd also like Cyborg to fight The 100.
They are a group of high tech assassins, they have fought against many superheroes in the past, Black Lightning and Booster Gold being the most notable.
I say create a new villian, a magical luddite villian who wants to kill Cyborg because he claims he is an unnatural abomination.
I like this. He should get two villians. A magical one and one that is similar to him.

Why not use Abra Kadabra who is a combination of both?
I think he should Stay away from Batman villains and DC should create him a group of interesting
Lobo would destroy cyborg if the ever got in a fight.@black_claw He should definitely fight Amazo though. Maybe make him his main villain. It would improve both of their roles in the DC universe
@knightfall225: same here. But if they do decide to give him his own rogues gallery I want them to do three things.
1. Bring in some villains from the cartoon and revamp them for the comics (Atlas, Krall)
2. Use some Obscure villains
3. Make new ones.
The reason I want Atlas and Krall in the comics is because they can be excellent parallels for Cyborg. Atlas can serve as the arch enemy because while Cyborg is now part machine and fighting to retain what remains of his humanity, Atlas despises anything organic and is obsessed with becoming the perfect machine.
Krall can be a good villain because the theme of his conflict with Cy would be Past vs Future.
They can also create a magic villain and a nature villain so we can have themes of Magic vs Science an Nature vs Technology.
@black_claw: I'd be worried about him fighting Lobo. i don't want to see Cyborg getting ripped apart

Expanding again, I think the Robot Renegade would make for some awesome foes:
I think Solomon Grundy would be an interesting member of a Cyborg Rogues gallery, helps that he's not a definitive villain of any hero these days. Too bad he's on earth 2.

yup' looks like DC's bringing him back to his roots (pun not intended) as an Alan Scott villain.
