stop PMing me about my stance in this thread.
the fact that you made a thread to announce your sexual preference and put it in the forums is lame enough as it is.

I wont bring a woman in my life so she can watch me struggle with debt and how messed up my life is.  I wont bring a child to this world to be hungry and miserable. When I fix my life then I'll get someone to share my happiness with. To my brother and his friends that's weird... They even laugh at me. I'm like WTF! But then I remember my purpose and what they don't know is that in the end I'll be laughing at them. I'll be a winner and when my plan comes to fruition they will have to kiss my rich -advance technological - Ferrari driving- champagne pop'n- World touring butt! :P xD   "

That's good man, I wish more people in this world could do what you've decided to do. It's not gonna be easy, but you'll definitely be a better man for it in the end. I hope you do become successful one day, you're on the right track! If you're in debt, I suggest looking up the Dave Ramsey "Financial Peace University". Me and my girlfriend went through the classes and they are great, I would definitely recommend it to anybody seeking financial advice.

@jordama:  I kinda of have two question, that I only dare to ask because you shown such openness. Some might make you think I am an idiot, which I am, but in this case they are all honest question, out of pure inquisitive thinking.
an image that means nothing, but I didn't want to post just text

  1. Would you describe your feelings as the so called "platonic love"? -  However, before you answer take into consideration  that  "platonic love" does not simply means absence of sexual involvement but also implies a very deep connection, deeper than conventional relationships, even suggesting spiritual linkage.
  2. Imagining two persons, that share the same, less call it , orientation, as you, form a couple. Would or could that implying, in some level, elements such us: loyalty and faithfulness,  jealousy, an so on....
  3. With you parents, siblings and friends, do you enjoy or make use of other kind of physical touch, likes hugs, kisses, a hand on the shoulder, and so on.
  4. Are about aesthetics? Do you feel any different in this matter? I ask this because there's a strong link between physical attraction and the way people dress and appreciate other peoples way of dressing
  5. Would you say it was a life choice, a philosophy you chose or that you were born somewhat different, meaning something in your genes is different?
  6. Would you call yourself a emotive person?
  7. I'm not a native English speaker and I don't live in a English speaking country, so sorry but I really must ask, is BIROMANTIC a real, I mean dictionary-real word? Because I couldn't find it and how would YOU define it exactly, or better asking how would you set it apart from other words that people might confuse with?
  8. Have you notice I said two questions and let myself carried away?
  9. Now perhaps the more awkward one: Children. Family. Ever wonder? Is raising a children, yours or adopted, something that find appealing? - I mean teenagers nobody likes (just kidding) but it seems to me that a lot of people that don't seek a mate for life might wish to have a child.
  10. Please don't take this question in the wrong way.  I often read about the chemicals reactions associated with romantic love. My question, that is very connected to the number 3 is: do you think that your brain might not process certain chemicals or that might not process other people's pheromones in the same way as everybody else's brain? If scientific evidence supporting this was found, how would it affect you?

PS - You don't need to answer every single one if you don't fell you want to, you don't have to answer to any, for all that matters!

" Dear all,  I have a serious question, and I would appreciate it if someone would answer in a mature and polite fashion.  I am curious about this. Could someone help me understand the meanings of the following terms:  1. Polysexual 2. Pansexual 3. Pomosexual 4. Intersexual 5. Metrosexual    Am I allowed to ask these questions? Are they appropriate? Please let me know. I will delete them if they aren't appropriate.  Thanks.  Sincerely, Edamame "
Polysexual and Pansexual are the same as bi-sexual they are just different perspectives.
Pomosexual is basically the same thing.A pomosexual may be attracted to the same or the other sex but refuses to be categorized.
I think Intrasexual is basically being homosexual but it's more in relation to non-human life forms like animals.
Metrosexual is a male with borderline homosexual tendencies.Mostly dealing with fashion sense, hygiene and outer appearance.

Dear all,

I have a serious question, and I would appreciate it if someone would answer in a mature and polite fashion.  I am curious about this. Could someone help me understand the meanings of the following terms:

1. Polysexual

3. Pomosexual
4. Intersexual
5. Metrosexual

Am I allowed to ask these questions? Are they appropriate? Please let me know. I will delete them if they aren't appropriate.

Thanks.

Maybe so, but if that is the case, one can assume that the degree of such instinct varies from person to person.  Asexuality then, wouldn't be so much "having no desire/interest in sex" as much as "having significantly less desire/interest in sex than the norm".
