1 Idie is, without putting too fine a point on it, black. This girl, despite the firery aura, appears to be white. 2 Idiie can't (as far as I'm aware) fly. 3 Idie is meant to be, what? 13? This character looks to be at least 17/18 (I know there's been a bit of drama about how old she looks, but still...) 4 I've never seen Idie use her powers without having one hand glow blue (ice) and the other hand red/orange (fire). I'd think that any image of her on a cover would have some reference to her powers.
Those were all very obvious. Rachel's new look looks... interesting. I liked the 'new' costume she had when she went into space, but I'll get used to this.
I shall definitely pick up all eight titles for their 'first' issues, then will make a decision on which ones to carry on reading.
Something to ponder upon is the teased return/rebirth of Cable and where he'll end up - one might think that since Nate is on team Blue, the obvious choice would be that Cable ends up with Wolvie but that'll put him at opposite ends with Hope - Oooooh the potential drama!
Looks like Uncanny X-force is still the only x-book I'm still pulling. Remender and most of the same cast, Count me in for the long haul. Wolverine and Xmen, X-factor definitely are books I'll keep an eye out for.
Kid Omega is stopping me from getting Wolverine and the X Men. He was unbelievably annoying in Schism and based on those issues I don't think Jason Aaron can write decent dialogue to save his life. I really like Bachalo's art (I might be the only one) but that isn't enough to get me to read this book. And where the heck is Cannonball?
They wrote that Cannonball has PTS so I doubt he is going to be around. They have been hinting about it for a long time. It's because they want to give Danni a bump.
What is PTS? I want him either on New Mutants or on the main team!
It's Age of Apocalypse nightcrawler who has that tattoo on his face. Main earth nightcrawler wouldn't be a part of that team, but AoA aproves killing (he killed AoA Deadpool teleporting his head to a cliff, wich would make funny seeing him interact with main earth Deadpool).

X-Factor has consistently been the best "team" book in the mutant lineup for a VERY long time. I admit that I slept on it, following 'Decimation', but I've caught up on it and have found it to be a worthwhile read; love the camaraderie. Read some trades and give it a shot.
Plus, Emanuela Lupacchino's pencils are fantastic. I'm talking Jerome Opena and Esad Ribic level of awesome; the way she draws Banshee/Theresa is just OMIGOD!

This is just a wild guess. Maybe that is Idie and she can fly when Iceman is nearby, given the way her powers work. Perhaps that explains the weird steam coming off Bobby.
Rachel's new costume is interesting for the spikes - a throwback to what she wore when she was a mutant hunting hound. Why she'd choose to incorporate that I'm not sure.
One interesting thing is the way teams are physically placed. All of the Blue teams are clearly lumped into smaller little groups, neatly packed together. The gold teams on the other hand all sort of blend together, characters spilling over onto other covers, looking like one larger group. I wonder if this is just a way to visually communicate Scott and Logan's different leadership styles?
You could also read that the Gold team is one larger unified front that will possibly work together frequently, while the blue teams appear to keep to them selves and may not really have as strong of a bond overall.
Okay lemme get this out of the way first... WHOOOOOO Rachel is back!!
.... BUT i do hate the artist ...he made rogue ugly and now rachel.... GAhhh i liked the femininity rachel had when she was in space and i hope shes kickass in legacy!!!
Hmm but i have to question her role and character development in legacy... Rogue's the stern leader, Gambit is the sexy cajun, Frenzy is the wisecrack, so what is rachel???
And all im asking for is some sort of interaction between her and hope..
Where's X-Men A? X-Men B and X-Men C? C'mon people, these are TEASERS. They want you to salivate. Unfortunately there will always be someone crying about people being left out. They're not dead or forgotten. They'll just be background players (New X-Men, Science Team, Atlanteans). Wolverine will be in X-Force. Emma and Cyclops will appear in adjectiveless X-Men.
@Namor1987: Wanna Bet? I'm willing to put money on the fact that Archangel leaves the group, turns evil and is sent to a jail, or ends up dieing, and AOA Nightcrawler replaces him. 3 things support this...
1) Rick Remender has stated in an interview that Schism plus the Dark Angel story would lead to a character roster change. 2) The Life Seed (if they plan on using it) will kill Warren, if they don't use it then they have to kill him so he stops doing evil stuff. That's a Lose-lose scenario. 3) Archangel isn't on the cover above, so that hints he won't be on the team.
Legacy remains promising (Choi's art will take some getting used to though), but Uncanny and New Mutants will remain my primary choices, along with X-Force (loving me some AoA Nightcrawler). Also, why the hell are ALL of X-Factor there? Isn't one of them supposed to, you know...

Is that Rachel on Rogue's Team? L thought it was Loa with Jean's/(or possibly Rachel's) flames from wolverine's team. Loa actually makes more sense being on Rogue's Team.
@ChadwickDavis: Rogue team is rescuing Rachel and co. from the space, so it makes sense to see her there (and yes, it's Rachel with the hound marks and a new design of her spiked costume).
Oya is supposed to be the school girl on Wolverine team.
You know what would be cool? If Archangel continued to be a villain after the current arc is over. He's without a doubt the best X-Men villain we've had in a long time. It would also further cement just how much the starting five have changed. None of them even seem interested in following Scott anymore lol.
@WildStyle: Well that would only be Bobby, Archangel is...well.....Archangel, Jean's dead and Beast left(because of what Cyclops enforced) to do his own thing (and turned out to be very successful) so yeah.
I'm excited about Regenisis, because it will give more characters a chance to have a major role. I plan on reading the first issue of all the Regenisis titles.
Oh thank Hanna for the no deaths of X-Factor but I am slightly worried about the 11 team members thing. It's going a bit overbored and I should say eventual 12 members because Darwin still has to come back at some point.
