The Winter Soldier Returns in New Series

It was a sad an unfortunate day when WINTER SOLDIER ended. With the new Captain America movie coming out next year, it really shouldn't be a surprise to see the return of Bucky in comics. In February, we'll get to see the new (old) adventures of Bucky, courtesy of Rick Remender, in WINTER SOLDIER: THE BITTER MARCH.

Wait, is this a new ongoing or a mini-series?

I think "The Bitter March" is the title of the arc, since the cover itself doesn't say that anywhere on it. But then again in the description it says "the shocking conclusion" so... I guess we wait for further information.

I really want to read this as a fan of both Bucky and Remender but another $3.99 title on top of the ones I'm already reading and planning to add, I just don't see it happening :(

Mini-Series IIRC

CRAP. I was thrilled to see this until I saw it was Remender. That guy just ain't my style.

Because you get a digital code for the book, as with most Marvel books.

@ptigrusmagus: The chances of seeing a new book from Marvel, and likely DC, for less than $3.99 are pretty much none.

I love Winter Soldier, but I'm not sure how I feel about this taking place in the past. Definitely a wait and see book for me.

If only Remander didn't have his hands on the series, it'd have real potential.

these^ I didn't like his cap, so ill probably not like his bucky.

Remender writing a dark and moody story about a dark character I am shocked....His Cap has no charm and he seems so dead set on not wanting to be compared to Brubaker that he will just destroy all the hard work he put in on the book and I see this being much the same.

Rick Remender disappoints me with his Captain America but I am still pretty hyped for this mini-series.

If this is anything like Uncanny X-Force I'm sold. That's ignoring the fact that this is Winter Soldier and Roland Boschi is a great artist.

If it's an ongoing, why the hell did they cancel the other series? If it's a mini-series I'll wait for the trade.

Remender really needs to be taken as far away from Cap and his friends as possible. Rick has shown many times he is a one trick pony trying to recapture what he had in X-Force problem is we all saw what he had and that is all he has. His Secret Avengers, Captain America and Uncanny Avengers have all be disappointing and this will continue that streak.

Wait wait wait wait, so bucky is the villain in the new cap America movie?

It's an awesome story. Check out the Ed Brubaker Captain America omnibus. It's amazing

it was a good day when the last winter solider series ended because it went downhill after the first storyarc. and its not even bucky, its the brainwashed villain. this is so not a good idea. i get they are trying to tie into the movie but please just stop. just show him now in modern times
