Synopsis: After the critically lamed Avengers vs X-Men, Marvel brings to you the fantastic minds of Brian Michael Bendis and Matt Fraction and the greatest Punisher writer EVAAAAR, Garth Ennis. Nova has headed to Earth and tells the Avengers that Cyttorak is on his way to Earth to do absolutely nothing but sit in his chair. The Avengers find this a threat and decide to ask their residential Cyttorakorian expert, Red Hulk.
Red Hulk: "I have seen what his avatars can do. They punched me in the face and I bled my own blood."
Cap: "BWAAAAH!!! We have to stop him. He punches Hulks."
The Punisher not knowing the full extent of Cyttorak's incredible ability to do absolutely nothing but have meat heads run through things decides he should appease to the God and get his power for no reason whatsoever. But in the shadows, Cain Marko lurks to claim his power back.

TB: He shot Wolverine in the balls and ran over him with a steam roller. He is already capable of defeating them since he beat their strongest member. And Punisher is a universal entity anyways. He beat some cops easily and some cops beat Thanos who was standing up to Odin who is stronger than the Phoenix Force. Cops>>>Odin>>Phoenix Force>Thanos.

I'm going to give it a chance I highly doubt that is is going to be Punisher kills the marvel uni, it also depends on who is writing it, this could be good if everyone just waited to see what it was actually about! I mean it can't be worse then Fear Itself right?
Look, we all know the Punisher is not going to be killing all these heroes in continuity so maybe he just utterly pwns them all, has them all in a killbox, just to show them that he CAN AND WILL KILL THEM ALL UNLESS THEY GET THEIR ACTS TOGETHER AND KNOCK OFF ALL THE EVENTS.
The Punisher? Thanks, my interest just waned by about 70 percent. He is one of the most boring superheroes, even if he's done well. Who needs a Punisher event?
You think that the punisher is only popular because he's a "mooch"? Credibility lost. Also, the punisher is a highly trained war veteran that kills on a regular basis. I highly doubt that qualifys him as "just some guy with guns and grenades."
