Sometimes when a new comic is released it can be hard to get into it when your pull list is already filled to the brim with great books. This often results in missing out on what could potentially be fantastic stories featuring characters you may not yet know, but that you could eventually grow to love. Yet when its a new character from a smaller publisher it can be hard to dive into that new book, which is why this week we are pleased to give our readers a look at the KIRBY:GENESIS series from Dynamite Entertainment. After all, there's nothing quite like free comics, am I right?

Over the course of the next few days we will be featuring all five previously released issues of KIRBY: GENESIS on Comic Vine courtesy of Dynamite Entertainment. This means that you will be able to read issues #0 through 4 starting today through Wednesday just in time for the release of the fifth issue (on sale this Wednesday). That way, when you get to to your local comic shop this week not only will you be all caught up KIRBY: GENESIS, you'll know whether it is a comic you want to invest in. Today we are pleased to present issues #0 and 1 below which were plotted and scripted by both Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross. Check it out after the jump.

It's really cool of Dynamite to do this

I bought issue #0 a while back, it seems pretty interesting. They're working hard pushing this series, I hope it catches on. I'd follow it but I'm on such limited funds right now (4 titles a month atm...)

Dynamite really is pushing the Kirby Genesis books. I'm loving what I'm seeing so far with all the freebies and what not.
