Over at Buzzfeed they had an exclusive preview of WONDER WOMAN #36, which is the start of a new story with a new creative team. Meredith Finch takes over writing duties and David Finch takes over on art.

Hope this issue is good. We need more good Wonder Woman story. Also Swamp Thing in this book...wow

Actually looks kinda good. I might have to check out WW for the first time since the start of the new 52.

Art looks nice. Much better then Finch's most recent forever evil stuff. I think I wi try the first issue. I just hope Mrs.Finch's writing is better then her husband's.

What vegetative injustice was worth so many lives?!

Well it looks pretty, if a bit deformed, but it appears the Finch's weren't in on Hippolyta.

Gonna say I'm not a fan of the new art.

@fables87: yeah...Wonder Woman face looks like she is in 20 years old...

Swamp Thing is literally the only plant-based entity on all of DC Earth who doesn't go around talking about how humans should all die to bring forth vegetable utopia. Naturally his is the first face that Wonder Woman, genius that she is, decides to kick.

@dadarkknight36310: mehh...everyone want Wonder Woman to looks more mature. Her face is maybe about around age 29 years old and above. C'mon comics fans don't want Diana to have same age as Barbara Gordon. She suppose to looks like warrior

Finch is really trying here art wise. The writing is pretty meh though.

I guess, plenty of people kick him. Aquaman fed him to crocodiles. Doesn't actually do anything to him, but you can make physical contact with him.

My thing here that I have a gripe with this run is. IN an interview I believe they said that the Justice League would be a big part in her run. Which I honestly don't want.

I'm sorry, I just can't get behind David Finch's art. Not sure I'll check this out. He is just one of those artists that turns me off to any story he draws, no matter the quality of the writing. That is the reason I haven't read Forever Evil yet.

Oh I know physical contact doesn't do anything to him but couldn't he in theory just make everything physical go through him?

looking forward to this mostly for the great art as im not familiar with the writers. definitely needed a change of pace for wonder woman for me. why is hippolyta still stone? since diana and hera are all buddy buddy and she turned the amazons all back shouldnt hippolyta be back as well or is this taking place before the end of the last arc?

The narration is good, the art is great... with the exception of Diana.

David if only your women were better.

I have never read a Wonder Woman comic on a regular basis. But between the Finch art, Swamp Thing, and in the spirit of the character of the month, Im gonna throw this on my pull list and give it a shot.

The artwork has definitly improved, but not so sure about Meredith regarding the story.

Finch made her look so damn hot. Lol

The artwork looks waaaay better than his Forever Evil run.

@saren: Wonder Woman met him in Superman/ Wonder Woman Doomsday aftermath issue. So she is familiar with him, she might have a good reason to hit him. Then again Aquaman did exactly the same way.

Her arms are so skinny compare to the rest of her body.

Also: Why Hippolyta is still as clay statue ? After more than 30 issues, WW didnt found a way to "heal" her mother yet.

Uh, I don't. Like some said, she's eternally young. And I think DC made it clear years ago they didn't want people to think of WW as a "grandma" anymore.

On New 52 Wonder Woman she said she was 25 on issue where she fought both Apollo and Artemis for the fist time.This Wonder Woman looks more like Donna Troy than Diana Prince.

This is my jumping on point. Time to support WW if you want the character to continue growing.

wow! i cant wait for this! While i did love everything about the last run, the art wasnt the big draw for me, i liked it but i wasnt inlove with it. This art for this new run is right up my alley, im so excited for this week

You give me 36 issues of Fugazi, and you think I can just switch over to Maroon Five? Nope........

I am interested to see where this goes, especially as we get a return to more of the true superhero character
