I have never seen someone so salty about Hulks as much as Aaron, i guess his terrible run on Hulk still haunts him to this day.
"Stuiped sons of Hulks" lol
I lol'd too haha
I have never seen someone so salty about Hulks as much as Aaron, i guess his terrible run on Hulk still haunts him to this day.
Or maybe he`s playing on the Hulk`s rivalry between Thor? The only one seeming salty is you here dude.
@atheistknowledge: you would lick hulk taint if you got the chance
@theincrediblesuperhulk8642: What rivalry? He had Thors brag about how many Hulks each of them can bag, he had them torture them like they where playthings and Thors own book he had a creature which he specifically mentioned had the strength of Hulk get one shoted by Thor with his bare fists, again what rivalry are you talking about? Where am i salty and why are you so triggered by my comment?
@darthdeadpool: Don't worry you can lick mine so you don't feel left out.

Thor has always had a rivalry with Hulk? It's not coming from left field. They played with it in other Secret Wars titles as well. Also what other race of beings can match the Thors other than the Hulks? It makes sense that there is a rivalry since one is a race of cops the other barbarians.
Being salty since you were criticizing Aaron for no real reason other than him supposedly "attacking" Hulks in this arc just because you dislike his Hulk run (It was trash :p) and are a Hulk fan.
I have never seen someone so salty about Hulks as much as Aaron, i guess his terrible run on Hulk still haunts him to this day.
I personally think he just is pandering to whoever he deems the most profitable at the time. Thor fanboys, women... Bucky fans during original sins?
@theincrediblesuperhulk8642: Yea but what has that have to do with Aaron? Seeing as he doesn't seem to respect that rivalry much and other SW titles have nothing to do with Aaron. You are not getting my point i know Hulk and Thor are rivals, you know they are rivals that match each other but Aaron doesn't share the same sentiment.
You do realize from all the 4 issues Aaron has mentioned Hulk every time and in a demeaning manner at that, my "saltiness" does not come off as me just getting annoyed from his one off hand comment but because the guy has a clear poor history when it comes to Hulk.
@stahlflamme Exactly my thoughts he just panders to whoever is most convenient at the time.
@atheistknowledge: It's a Thor book. Not a Hulk book. Makes sense that it woupd demean the other side of the fight not only that but it's pretty well established that the Hulks are a barbaric and savage people that no one on battleworld are overly fond of.
His Hulk run is poor. But there's no need to imply that he has a quote on quote "grudge" against the character because of this. He doesn't. In fact His other work is extremely successful and quite good I might add. But either way. I guess we just view this differently.
@theincrediblesuperhulk8642: Sure, fine so am i not allowed to make the comment i did? I did not go on a rant or bash the guy or anything i just thought he came off as salty since he mentioned Hulks in all 4 of the Thor issues as well as had some past problems with him.
I personally do see him as disliking Hulk for whatever reason among the things i listed he had Hulk get casually one shoted twice in his Original Sin run, i don't think he is very fond of the character ever since his run ended he has never EVER portrayed any Hulk positively. Which is fine if he wants to do that but it's fine for me to point out that he has a problem with the character.
Is that the 616 Odinson? Shouldn't he be dead? I haven't followed Thors since the first issue so I don't really know.
@atheistknowledge: I felt it was uncalled for and unneeded. I never said that you shouldn't have said it but the way you wrote it implied you have a bone to pick with him. I don't agree with him being salty as there isn't anything pointing to that.
Not necessarily. It's similar to Johns who although writes a fantastic Superman is inconsistent with his power levels and in other stories not focusing on him he portrays his power differently. Multiple writers do this as well. He does write an extremely inconsistent Hulk but never really wrote him out of character just his power wrong. And the story he told for his run.
What the hell did I just read?
Isn't Rune Thor too powerful for Ultimate Thor and Unworthy Thor?
Not sure why it reads Rune Thor? It's suppose to be King Thor, from Jurgens run, if I'm not mistaken? Totally different from this Thor...
@lordraiden: King Thor has the Odinforce, right?

Well that's your opinion i already suffered to several of Aarons quips and said nothing and now even just from the preview this guy can't help himself but throw jabs, he honestly seems obsessed to me.
Johns portraying Superman differently in terms of powers has nothing to do with Aaron constantly low balling Hulk when he get's the chance. He did write Hulk out of character though, Hulk was a blatant murderer and had no problems torturing others in his run, he also undid what Pak did with Banner and Hulk only to arrive to the same conclusion 15 issues later virtually achieving nothing at all.
@atheistknowledge: I think, you're taking the quips waaayyy to much to heart. In fact. That's what they are. Just quips. Nothing more. He isn't obsessed nor is he trying to bash the character. He's just trying to add humour. Nothing wrong with it.
He doesn't lowball him though that's my point. He just writes him as a side character since that's what he is in most of his stories. Johns has had Superman get one shotted by John Stewart, Aquaman and others. It isn't lowballing. They just serve a certain role in the story and aren't main focuses.
Before I get into it any scans of Hulk acting out of character from Aaron's run? Been a while and I really didn't care enough to remember. I do agree that he undid every advancement with Banner and his run in the end was useless.
@theincrediblesuperhulk8642: Ok so they are my quips with his quips, can we leave it at that instead of turning it into a social crusade where you try to reform my beliefs?
That is lowballing, they can serve any role they want even as side characters, that does not mean their power levels should be ignored just because they are not the main focus. Unless there are specific circumstances written in like Superman was weakened or dazed or something like that i don't expect Aquaman to one shot him just cause.
Like i told you he tortured and killed.
@atheistknowledge: I'm not necessarily trying to reform your beliefs. Just that you came off as salty as you were accusing Aaron of being.
Power levels are generally ignored in specific events like that. The only writers to my knowledge who never have stuff like that happen are either Morrison or Hickman. They always respect the characters true power. Most writers don't. Just how it is.
Yes but provide examples. Who exactly did he torture and other than Banner who did he kill that was uncalled for.
@theincrediblesuperhulk8642: Yea i guess it's impossible to call something out without being salty. Every time i criticize something i must be salty i guess.
And it doesn't mean it's any good, i much rather writers respect the characters fully if others can everyone can.
I don't remember much because i don't want to but i know he tortured and killed a man-dog.
@lordraiden: King Thor has the Odinforce, right?
He does indeed. It's how he became King Thor, when Odin died fighting Surtur during Jurgens run, iirc, Thor inherited Odin's throne and power. It was King Thor who fought Iron Man in his Thor Buster armour, and it was King Thor that killed Cap, Hulk & Thing amongst others, and it was Wolverine who cut King Thors arm off.
@atheistknowledge: Not necessarily. It's the way you worded it. It came off that way.
I agree. But that's just how it is. To be honest story and characterization is more important than power when we get down to it. But either way it's nice when writers can respect a characters power.
Gaaaahhhhh. Not that issue with Punisher. Ahhhhh that issue gave me the nightmares it was so bad. *shudder* Wasn't Hulk also slightly going crazy during his run as well? Not sure. Either way. Other than that nothing else was necessarily out of character for Hulk. Banner was completely gone and tarnished. At least he gave Hulk 1 good feat....or 2.......right?
@lordraiden: I thought Thor lost his arm in his fight with Hulk and Thing. I think it's funny how Thor, here, loses his arm against the heroes invading Asgardia, but in Marvel Now, he loses his arm to Malekith.
i hope ultimate thor stays after secret wars
That makes two of us.
@lordraiden: Yep, I was wondering how could Rune Thor have been enslaved by Doom like that, lol.
@gbandit: Nothing, she's hanging out with the Thors, stirring things up in the secret wars main book. (It's unclear if this takes place before or during (or even at what point during) the Secret Wars main story) She's not an original resident of Battle World, and none of the Jane Fosters who were original residents became Thors, they and some of the Donald Blakes (we don't know if any of the Donald Blakes were recruited as Thors either) were killed apparently by Rune Thor.
@lordraiden: why didnt you put the part where cap was kicking thors ass?
