The dialogue is kinda funny to say the least. Lol

I totally cheated and read this preview on Dauterman's tumblr this afternoon. I love that she doesn't know how to drive Mjolnir. :)

The dialogue is awesome.

At first i thought it had to be freija because of her speech pathern. but then i noticed that she thinks completely different then when she speaks.

so it could be someone else. someone like say....an inhuman female

I look forward to reading this in a few days. :)

Yeah, you don't often see someone thinking to themselves and speaking out loud at the same time.

Reminds me a bit of how Thor and Blake were discussing the hows and whatnows after Mjolnir broke on Bor's head.

She's kinda weird and.... continuity and all that aside... pretty cool and entertaining. Love it! Jason Aaron should have come up with an entire issue featuring only her speaking to herself and Mjolnir. The Goddess of Thunder rocks!

My guess is someone from broxton is the new Thor since freyja changed the wording on the hammer.

It would kill two birds with one stone for her having a woman worthy of the hammer and proving shw is just as capable on the all father in ruling asgard.

Definitely think it is Jane. She is in Asgard as part of the Senate. She knows Thor and his abilities. She is one of very fee humans that knew of the hammer on the moon and had the means to get there. She was shown to be a selfless warrior as she wants to fight the cancer without the Asgardian magic.

thor isn't powerless and he still has jarnbjorn. he is still VERY powerful. he sliced open a celestial with that axe. he's going to be just fine. lol

Well, the thought bubbles are in a normal, non-Asgardian font and non-Asgardian style so she must not be of Asgard. She's someone who has seen Thor in action which really doesn't narrow it down much either. She does, however, want anonymity since she said having a mask was a "good idea" so it's likely not someone who's a superhero so it could be Jane Foster since she's a civilian.

When I first saw the solicits, I thought Brunnhilde (AKA Valkyrie) was going to be the new Thor.

Either Roz or Jane. Jane is in Asgardia, and maybe by using the hammer it can help her cancer, thats another reason why Freyja might have allowed her to come. It also could be Roz, because she is a recently introduced character, and Aaron said he has been planning this for a while, so he could have been building her up as a character before giving her the hammer. Hoping its Roz, but I think I'd be ok with it being Jane.

How'd this person get to the moon if they relied on the hammer to get back?

I don't like it, but I'm gonna buy it.

What if it follows more of Freija's thoughts from her youth. She says she has been changed.

I find all the dialogue kinda weird. Thought bubbles sound like how a normal person talks, and yet speech bubbles are very Asgardian. Heck, even the fonts are different! Maybe it means that Mjonir influences what comes out of her mouth, in addition to the armor?

And to think they ended thors series for this.

Almost reads like she's forcing herself to speak like Thor.

That's what I'm thinking; I'm thinking Freyja altered the inscription(idiotically, to "She", it is supposed to be an all-inclusive enchantment, like saying mankind, which also includes women, but I digress) & did so with Jane in mind because she had the most prior experience with Thor, & was with the Asgardians already. My 2nd choice would be Roz, but I think Jane is more likely.

That are kind words, Is this Shazam or Thor? Jane (or Roz) picks Mjolnir and her hair changes, and she's is forced herself to speak like Thor? Why that didn't happen with BRB or Cap when he pick Mjolnir in Fear Itself event! PIS for the new Thor! Will we forget the stupid whisper?

The words she thinks come out differently. The thought bubbles tell us that she's not of Asgard and the speech bubbles tell us that the magic of gaining Thor's powers altered the way she speaks to that of an Asgardian. Eventually, I'm sure we'll get the standard narration after they establish this as the way the character thinks. All narration will be in the lady's natural voice, and all speech bubbles will have the Asgardian inflection.

I wouldnt mind female impostor Thor if she'd lose the black body suit & just wore the silver breast-armor & the belt when she was empowered.

I just want to know who she really. Once I learn that I will stop picking up Thor comics and just wait for the actual Thor to come back.

I need to have this settle a bit. Not going to lie, I am really disappointed it isn't Freyja. Not too sure how I feel about this being either Ros or Jane.
