Preview Theatre: MOON KNIGHT #12

This week for one of our exclusive previews from Marvel, we decided to give it the Preview Theatre treatment (you can see plenty more HERE). Last issue, the Marc Spector broke out of the holding facility he was being kept in. He didn't realize it was in a plane flying in the sky. Too bad he doesn't have the ability to fly.

Gonna miss this creative team but excited to see what the new one has to offer. Jordie Bellaire best colorist there is right now.

I couldn't agree more with this! I found myself pacing the floor waiting impatiently for each issue, very effective writing by Wood, and I'm going to miss Smallwoods art too. Bellaire is just a genius. Such great teams Moonie has had I wish they could keep them on for longer.

The voices/sound fx he does in this are quite good.

I don't know anything about this character. Can I start on issue 1 and be OK?

Yep! Just read this short descriptor first...

There is obviously much more to his backstory but this is enough to get ya rollin.

I've always liked the concept of Moon Knight, but when I got into comics, he was little better than a B lister with no ongoing. This series has been amazing. I love how the feel and energy of it is so different than most other comics, even those by Marvel.

There isn't much exposition available and several panels may just be there without any narration at all. It creates a really striking book.

On the note of the preview, with Konshu's last words, you guys think Marc actually is dying from the impact? The clock is ticking...
