Man I gotta say I had the highest hopes for a green lantern variant for flash since Hal and Barry are best buds but I'm just not feeling it. It's not horrible but not amazing.

Dropping this until a new artist comes on board.

@captainmarvel4ever: My point exactly. No disrespect to Jon (he's a cool character and all) but Hal is his best friend. In my opinion it was a huge missed opportunity.

Can't wait to pick this up!

@ecstaticgrace: I am just not a fan of Booth in general, he's okay for a one shot or a short arc, but I get real tired of him real fast.

@the_stegman: I like his character designs I think he has a good eye for that kind of stuff. Sometimes i like it but I think Brett Booth can go over board with his drawings. Seems a little too... flashy maybe that's the word.

@kid_jakeriv: I'm trying to find the word for it, it's a bit too...3D for me, I guess that's how I would discribe it, like everyone is too round in some areas and pointy in the other.

Love the variant. Really harkens back to Jensen's time on GLC as well as the GL/Flash dynamic on JLU. Also love the Justice League and 4th World characters in the background.

@the_stegman: That's exactly it! Like some parts with Iris's hair it would have spikes. That really bothers me.

Personally, I love the variant, but I'm a big fan of Wes Craig.

Agree. This art doesn't fit for Flash.

Wait, why did they change Eobard Thawne's powers to be exactly like Hunter Zolomon's powers? Just to make it more confusing to tell the two apart?

I really want to see a new creative team on this book. It wasn't the best book around even when Buccelato and Manapul were on board but at least it was far better than this.

I really dislike that uniform. It's too busy. The Flash's classic sleek red design is perfect. It's smooth, it's skin-tight. Even the armor lines of the first New 52 design were a bit too much, IMO.

I've dropped this. I never read anything Flash before so I hopped on when this arc started. Gave it 2 issues and I couldn't take it anymore. I'll stick to the TV show for now.

@tattacus: You should have tried the first couple issues of Buccelato & Manapul's run instead, the art is gorgeous.

The art style is so bad.

Maybe one day. I never had an issue with the art though.
