Punisher series have been consistently good for awhile now.

You see how good a series can be when it's not plagued with crossover events, and have to fit in perfectly with continuity.

Edmoson has been telling one BIG story and it's been great.Frank going against L.A street gangs, to mercenaries, to south american cartels and now it's all been leading up to the true villains which lie behind congress and politicians.

this may go down as one of the top 5 Punisher Runs.

This is slowly becoming my favourite Punisher run.

That cover should be the movie poster... If the punisher movies is coming ever.

I love this so much. It has a breaking bad vibe... And I LOVE IT!!!

Frank is a beast!

I guess I am in the minority on really not liking this series. I marathoned the first 13 issues and maybe that's the reason it didn't work as well for me. During those issues the writer rehashed the same three instances over and over again. Punisher gets ambushed, Punisher gets captured, Punisher breaks out. This pattern took place no less than 3 times in a dozen issues. I hope the series improves, but for my money: Magneto is the better Punisher book right now.

@theblackhood: You're not the only one. It's watered down and inconsequential; reads like a generic Tom Clancy book with B-list Marvel villains.

I want Punisher MAX back, that stuff was so good.

@sprior93: I realize that too. But to be honest. That's what I love about it.

Having been born in the 80's, this book feels like I'm watching something I normally would have back then over the weekends.

So, yeah, I totally understand why someone who looks for something deeper, really wouldn't like it.

I'm a sucker for this type of genetic, tough guy ish.
